About the property

The perfect base for discovering central London and Notting Hill! The apartment is a spacious two bedroom apartment on the ground floor and is fully equipped. The tube is only a very short walk away and Portobello Road is literally just around the corner.

This is a lovely pied a terre in Notting Hill on the gound floor of a Victorian building in a very beautiful neighbourhood. It comes with a fully fitted kitchen, large living room, bathroom, and a spacious master bedroom and second bedroom that has a single bed with a second pull out single bed below it. The bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment and give on to a private garden (non accessible) and so is very quiet and private. Please note that clean linens and towels are provided for your stay.

The apartment is in the well known Portobello Road Market neighborhood. You will find independent boutique shops and recommended restaurants scattered around the neighbourhood. The area is a must when visiting London, especially for food, fashion, music, antiques and book lovers.

The apartment is five mins walk from Notting Hill Gate tube (Central, Circle and District lines) and ten mins from Ladbroke Grove tube station.

Strategically located: you will find it extremely convenient to get anywhere around London.

Landing at Heathrow: Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and then the westbound Circle or District line to Notting Hill Gate tube station. It is a 5mns walk from there.

Landing at Gatwick: take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station, then the Circle Line tube to Notting Hill Gate. It is a 5mns walk from there.

You will have access to all amenities provided in the apartment as well as having the apartment to yourself during your stay.

All guests are provided with clean sheets, bath towels, hand towels as well as basic bathroom supplies.

The apartment has Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the apartment that guests can use during their stay.

Regular check-in time is from 3pm to 8pm.

Regular checkout time is up to 11am on the check out day.

If you wish to check-in earlier between 12noon and 3pm please let us know as it might be possible depending on the previous guest’s checking out.

Additional charges

Please note that there are extra charges if you are looking to check in late or check out very late.

1. Late check in:

Fee of £25 for check-ins between 8pm and 10pm.

Fee of £35 for check-ins from 10pm to 12am.

2. Extra late check out – Fee of £35 check-outs after 3pm on the check out day (If this is possible).

We will meet you upon your arrival to make sure you feel comfortable with the apartment and to hand over the keys.

Hey I'm Jan!

I'm a Londoner at heart and have a love for travel and a high expectancy when it comes to quality accommodation. I've always felt that as a host one should always offer the best! I personally make sure that the apartments are always properly taken care off and are professionally cleaned prior to the guest’s arrival. Linen, toiletries, towels and a few welcome essentials are there on arrival to ensure guests are made to feel at home.

I also make sure guests are met upon arrival and are shown around the apartment and given all relevant local tips on places to shop, go out, transport links, etc. so as to make sure guests get to experience the space and area as a real local would. Please note that I am also always available and contactable during the guest's stay if any help is needed. I'm always around to help!

Ideal location for a family holiday in London, clean, modern, compact

Fantastic location, one street from Portobello Rd, walk to Hyde Park and so close to the Tube. We will definitely book here again when we return to London.

Lovely apartment in great location

Very clean and updated apartment. Our family of 4 spent a week here. We had plenty of space.

The location is great with an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The underground is a close walk and has access to the Central, Circle and District lines.

Our family all agrees that we will try and stay here again.

Comfortable first floor flat near Portobello Rd

This is a first floor flat on Kensington Park Rd a five minute walk from the Notting Hill Gate tube station. Lots of good restaurants and several grocers in the area, not to mention the Portobello Saturday market! Each bedroom looks out over a back garden area which allows great cross ventilation on warm days. Beds (Double bed in one bedroom, twin in the second) and bedding are high quality and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. The bathroom has a standup shower, single sink, toilet and bidet. Water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. Bath linens were of high quality, and hotel-sized soaps, shampoo and body wash were provided. We found the neighborhood and the other occupants of the building to be very quiet. Host was very easy to work with. We experienced no problems with the flat. Would highly recommend.

Ideal Location in Notting Hill

Upon arriving your first thought will be "This can't be it!". This is in a very posh building in a posh neighborhood.

The location is phenomenal!!! Just a 5 minute walk from Notting Hill gate tube station and ONE block over from the Portabello Road market.

Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and tastefully decorated.

Back doors open on an open courtyard, that while not accessible, provide great freah air and cooling during those few hot London days.

Great shower and nicely laid out kitchen makes for a great stay.

West End Awesome

The flat is small, but had room for our family of three to be on their own as needed. The neighbourhood is great for a first time visit to London. Underground at Notting Hill is short walk away for trip into the city core. If you have your walking shoes on, then it is about an hour stroll from the flat through Hyde Park and on to the attractions near Buckingham Palace. Everything we needed was neatly prepared for us in the flat. We were met on time and all amenities explained. Very quiet location, and the amazing Portobello Market one block away. Walk some more to Queensway for international restaurants. We had a great time here. Thanks Jan!
