Our Bergwelt apartment is a real jewel. It's located in the centre of Grindelwald, yet it is in a quiet area. Shops, cable cars, public transport, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance.

The apartment is furnished to the highest standards and has been decorated by an interior designer. It has a luxurious, spacious feel throughout the property.

Fron the terrace you can see directly into the glacier gorge, the famous Eiger North face and the impressive Wetterhorn mountain.

The three bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of storage space for your belongings. There are 3 bathrooms, offering guests plenty of privacy.

The open plan living dining kitchen area has plenty of space and is very tastefully decorated.

There is an underground parking, connected to the apartment via elevator and there is a washing room with washing machine and dryer at your disposal.

Million dollar view penthouse

This new, cleverly decorated apartment was a delight for 4 adults and 2 children. Each of 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom, 2 en suite. The full wall of windows and sliding door look out on a postcard view of the snow-capped Eiger as well as other peaks and lush green valleys. In 2 minutes, you can amble into town for lunch or a spot of shopping. Parking and laundry facilities are in the basement.

The kitchen's layout makes it a tight fit for more than one adult at a time, as the refrigerator door opens awkwardly, blocking someone loading the dishwasher or preparing coffee.

The only major flaw with this lovely place is the complete lack of outdoor seating, looking at the main attraction! A small petrified wood table and 3 stools, suitable for children, are the only balcony seating, forcing the renters to trundle out the upholstered dining chairs, not an ideal set-up.

Overall, this is a prime location for visiting alpine lovers!

Owner's Response: Hi Carole, I am sorry to didn't ask me about the seating. The cow hide chairs in the living room are actually meant for on the balcony.

Great Views, Lovely Chalet, and Helpful Host

Pictures shown are exactly what you find -- a beautiful chalet in the perfect location in Grindelwald. The host (property manager) was very helpful and answered questions quickly. If only the weather cooperated more the week we were there.

Two things we did wish 1)that the hall bath wasn't just a tub. It would have been better if it was a tub/shower but understand it's probably that way for what the owner wants. 2) as one other reviewer mentioned -- that the towels were thicker/more plush (to match the plushness of the place)

This is a beautiful property, centrally located, with stunning views. Well appointed. The only minor complaint is that the owner does not allow the fireplace to be used. Otherwise, we loved it!

New modern smart apartment, with environment friendly material such as wood & natural stone. Located in Grindelwald centre; Migros supermarket within 1 minute walking & first mountain lift 2 minutes walking distance. Sitting in balcony & watching gungfrau mountain was really superb.

This amazing property had the best view and location in town. The host was extremely helpful in helping us decide how to spend our short stay. The hike to First and back was one of the most beautiful and picturesque that I've ever experienced. I could feel God all around me ❤️❤️ Would highly recommend.

A fantastic penthouse

We are a family of 6! The apartment was perfectly clean and just like the pictures. The location is perfect, very close to coop and all of the attractions are just a few minutes away walking. We had a wonderful time and we are definitely coming back again. Thank you.

Grindelwald is set in the alpine heartland of Switzerland known as the Bernese Oberland. Dominated by the world famous Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains it boasts the country's highest density of dramatic scenery. The village is the stating point for hundreds of walking trails, mountain biking trails, paragliding, rafting and much more in the summer months and for its skiing and snowboarding during the winter months when it becomes a lively winter ski resort. Set beneath the towering peak of the Eiger you couldn't be in a more beautiful setting. Its nicknamed 'glacier village' for its proximity to two large seas of ice which are well worth a hike to during the summer months. The main street is packed with little restaurants, cafes and bars , all with terraces for you to take in the views. There is train station in town making it easily accessible from any part of Switzerland.
