Triton Sea View is a brand new holiday development of 19 houses, all built to the highest spec. It is built into the hillside with landscaped gardens and two large pools. Our house, number 11, is in the second row from the front of the development facing the sea. It is fully airconditioned, and has 2 double bedrooms, one bathroom with rain shower, fitted kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine, open plan sitting room with a sofabed. There is a small patio and garden and the house roof is a sun terrace reached by outdoor steps and with wonderful 360 degree mountain and sea views. The house is fully fitted out with towels, bedding, kitchen equipment etc and has a TV and wifi.

Why Freda Mishan chose Asprouliani

We have spent holidays in Crete over the years and decided to purchase a property as part of our pre-retirement dream! We especially loved Georgiopolis beach and used to go there to spend the day walking the length of its 7 k beach, so it was an obvious choice for a place to house hunt. Triton Sea View was still being completed when we bought our house there it ticked all of our boxes and some: the location - 5-7 minutes' walk from the beach, its 360 degree view of the mountains and the sea from the roof terrace, the 2 beautiful good-sized pools, as well as the stunning, tasteful design of the whole development (we were shown around by one of its proud architects!) designed and built to be in harmony with its location.

What makes this bungalow unique

Triton Sea View is a strikingly beautiful newly-built holiday development with traditional Cretan white-walled houses and blue shutters. Each house is individually designed and has its own large roof terrace. The development has spectacular views of the mountains behind and the sea below, it is built into the hillside with landscaped gardens, has 2 beautiful pools, a fountain and a barbecue and leisure area. Perfect for couples and families!

We've had a lovely holiday.

This is a delightful place. A quiet, spotlessly-clean, tastefully-furnished, brand-new house in a newly-completed development. The location is quiet and pastoral but is also within an easy walk of shops, restaurants and the safe and lovely beach at Georgopoulis. The people here are both friendly and respectful of one's privacy. The area offers beautiful walks, a lovely freshwater lake and some excellent snorkelling and scuba-diving. The local restaurants offer a wide-range of cuisine to suit all pockets and tastes. We recommend "Pelagias Yard" (<>) which is a ten-minute walk from the house and serves food and drink from the family farm and fishing boat. We loved it here, thank you so much.

Triton Sea View is perfect for a family holiday with children of any age, and for couples. 5 minutes stroll takes you to a strip of tavernas, cafes and shops; younger visitors can ride in a red train or play in the playground! And also 5 minutes from the house is the glorious sandy 7 kilometre long Georgiopolis beach. Our local taverna there serves delicious (and very large!) dishes - we challenge you to finish their serving of Greek Yoghurt with honey!

Generally great new accommodation and surrounds. Minor issues - slide out bed engagement, tv viewing from sofa impossible, perhaps could be warmed up a little with pictures etc in time.

Otherwise excellent and location perfect to get around central parts of the island

Fabulous property in First class location.

Two weeks stay at this property was just amazing, we loved everything about the property, pools were beautiful, everything about this place is first class, immaculate and very peaceful. In a great location to walk to the 7km beach, or if you are feeling active, run to the lake within 20 mins and enjoy an active hour on a pedalo, finish off with a greek coffee! Wonderful.

Sehr sauber und toll organisiert. Alles vorhanden für einen schönen Urlaub- sogar eine Waschmaschine!

Wie haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Strand ist fußläufig in 10 Minuten zu erreichen und ist toll mit Strandbar und sehr schönem Strandabachnitt

The holiday development Triton Sea View is a 5 minute stroll from the sandy, mountain-backed Georgiopolis beach, at about 7 kilometres, the longest beach in Crete. The beach is dotted with Tavernas, crops of beach umbrellas and hotels along its length, but remains unspoilt and is less and less busy the further you get from Georgiopolis at its Western end. Our development is situated about half way along the beach, so a 20 minute walk along the beach to the town (or a 5 minute car or bus ride). Georgiopolis is a small fishing town that has developed enough to cater to tourism without losing its character. Centred round a square with its colourful fountain, it has tavernas, bars, shops, hotels and facilities such as car hire, banking, hairdressers, not to mention pedifish salons! Another main attraction of the area is Kournas Lake, a 5 minute drive from our development (or 30 minute walk along pleasant country roads). Lake Kournas is a freshwater lake with translucent turquoise water - even warmer than the sea, it is delightful to swim in and there are also peddle boats for hire. It has a number of tavernas and shops with original handmade crafts and souvenirs. For more serious shopping and sightseeing, the house is 20 minutes drive from Rethymnon and 30 minutes from Chania, the two most beautiful and historic cities in Crete.

An advantage for those who prefer not to rent a car is that there is a direct bus from Chania airport to Georgiopolis* (about 45 minutes) which will drop you at Kavros less than 10 mins walk from Triton Sea View. The same bus will take you to Rethymnon (30 mins)or even Heraklion (2 hours), or of course, back to Chania city (40 mins). *(Bus timetables change seasonally though - we would be happy to send you an updated bus timetable before your visit).
