Location is everything and this unit is in the PRIME location (front row, with the largest, best-furnished terrace other than 3+ bedrooms) in the complex. Furthermore, it is situated in the most Prime full-ownership enclave comparable in any resort destination. Whatever brings you relaxation, fun or entertainment can be found while enjoying your stay at our private, friendly and gated-community vacation home at Land's End where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. This is one of the few places in the world where desert meets ocean and where you can witness both spectacular sunrises and sunsets in and out of the ocean from either end of our beach!!

Please note: Terrasol's mandatory taxes/resort fees for all units are not included in our nightly rate-an additional $17.50 USD/ni for 1-2 pers, $22.50 USD/ni for 3-4 persons. We also require that you pay for a weekly or end-of-stay cleaning (only $29.00). These fees will be collected by the front desk upon checkout. There are no other fees other than 5.00/day for parking should you rent a vehicle (not necessary due to Terrasol's enviable location). Moreover, WE DO NOT REQUIRE A DAMAGE DEPOSIT.

STANDARD HI-SEASON RATE IS $275.00/USD/ni, $200.00 USD/ni off season, $250.00 USD shoulder season and $350.00 USD/ni over Christmas/NY's period. These are incredible rates for this unit. Compare with other front row units that have only been partially, or not renovated - their rates are only slightly less than ours for far inferior quality (i.e.: 40.00 USD less and you don't have to believe me; our multiple reviewers who have stayed in other Terrasol units say so...) Moreover, our outdoor terrace is easily twice the size of most with high end furnishings and at least 4 cozy areas to lounge in. WHEN YOU COMPARE OUR LOCATION, OUR OVER-SIZED TERRACE, OUR HI-END FINISHES, COUPLED WITH OUR REASONABLE RATES AND COMPREHENSIVE AMENITIES, you will realize that this unit is the best bang for the buck... We are continually told by renters of other units that they wish they had booked soon enough to obtain ours.

Numerous units purport to have been "completely renovated", yet they still have original hard-to-clean flooring, outdoor style walls, as well as much original woodwork (doors, closets etc) complete with the original, terribly uncomfortable furniture, not to mention out-dated and inadequate electrical wiring and plumbing. We have re-done every last thing, down to the sand, every screw, wire, piece of plumbing; we have replaced everything with high-end wooden cabinetry, travertine flooring and granite throughout. Also, bear in mind that numerous units do not offer the peace of mind of booking on credit cards through VRBO HomeAway payments. Moreover, numerous units only provide one roll of toilet paper and no other amenities or condiments; we have a fully stocked condo with everything from hair conditioner, body wash, bug spray, suntan lotion, fabric softener, printer paper, spices and everything in between (extensive list/details elsewhere). Book it now, before someone else does. You will not be disappointed.

Terrasol is nestled at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula at Land's End, near the famous arches; a spectacular low-rise, low-density, private, quiet and secluded resort.

• An exclusive enclave, Terrasol offers privacy and tranquility, yet is less than 500 meters from the bustling and quaint town of Cabo San Lucas with its exciting night-life, cantinas, restaurants, and shops. Guests will enjoy amenities including 2 heated swimming pools-one with a swim-up palapa bar, tennis courts and a modest work-out room. The famous CSL Marina is less than 200 meters from our condo; you can walk around this marina, past shops, bars, bistros, cafes, restaurants, flea markets and the mall; browse and shop to your hearts' content and then stop for a frosty beverage!!

◦ Terrasol is built 'on' the beach - 500 meters from the tip of the Baja Peninsula and Land's End (and you can't get any closer to the ocean (30 yards) than this unit);

◦ Terrasol has a serene 'honeymoon atmosphere', secluded and private.

- This is a small corner of Paradise where you awake to the beauty of an ocean sunrise and, as you enjoy your first refreshment of the day, you can watch the boats head out for the day's fishing adventure or gaze at the graceful lines of a large cruise ship as it glides by on its way into port. The day promises so many possibilities, whether you desire active pursuits such as swimming in one of Terrasol's two large heated pools (one with swim up bar and palapa restaurant), hiking over the small mountain to Lover's Beach, jogging along our mile long beach unmolested by trinket vendors and time-share sales people, golfing at the numerous near-by world class courses, horseback riding, ATV tours through the mountains and along the Pacific shore, jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling or scuba-diving at pristine beaches a short distance from town, whale watching by charter boat - or merely lazing in the sun on your own private front-row terrace as you unwind and spend quiet time amidst the serenity of Terrasol's desert landscaping, gorgeous plantings including azaleas and bouganvilla and friendly atmosphere.

When daylight fades, you can step out onto your terrace and watch a spectacular sunset and then head out into the heart of town a short 10 minutes away on foot, where you have a choice of restaurants suited to all tastes and budgets; stores, cinemas, discos, sports bars, party boats and the fun and famous Cabo Wabo and Giggling Marlin or Squid Roe. We, the owners are both retired Canadian Air Force Officers who each served 30 plus years. For the first few years, we wanted this magnificent property all to ourselves; however when we embarked on an 8 month house-exchange trip to Australia/NZ, we decided to begin renting our wonderful oceanfront piece of paradise and have had nothing but excellent reviews and delighted comments, especially from guests who had previously rented other units in Terrasol. We take a lot of pride in providing a worry-free stay for our guests with more amenities than most other rentals.

Why Joe Power chose Cabo San Lucas

We have been coming to Mexico on vacations for 30 yrs but when we finally discovered Cabo in 2009, it epitomized the best of everything we had loved from all the other areas of Mexico. When we first viewed Terrasol and descended down towards the ocean, we looked at each other's reaction, and on those steps, we knew we had to purchase a property there despite the fact that we had been thoroughly enjoying 5th wheeling around Arizona and had no intention of buying in Mexico at that point in time... Both my husband and I felt it - this was heaven. The weather, especially the lack of humidity compared to mainland Mexico, the vibe - it felt wonderful. When we saw units available in Terrasol, we jumped at the opportunity, since they are a rare gem on the Pacific beach.

Not only can you lie in bed and watch the whales during migration, but also when the sound of the surf is quiet, you can hear their spouting and splashing. What could be better than that?

This is not a timeshare. This is an opportunity to enjoy one of Cabo's few tranquil beachfront residences with easy access to the bustling town of Cabo San Lucas. It is the best of both worlds. Enjoy active days and quiet nights watching the stars - or enjoy quiet days (without whistles and camp counselors) and party all night. Cabo is so versatile that everyone can do their own thing. Cabo is also very safe, allowing you to walk the town into the wee hours without worry.

What makes this condo unique

You have a rare opportunity to rent this particular unit in Terrasol; it is coveted by many. This unit is all about luxury and comfort. It was completely renovated, right down to the sand-that includes every piece of plumbing, wiring, hinge & screw, every door & frame (unlike many renos done here) and the remodel included the removal of walls and re-design of interior spaces. Moreover, we have retained none of the original, uncomfortable wooden furniture/chairs; they have been replaced with high-end, custom-built furnishings and finishes. You will find a multitude of choices of areas to sprawl out, relax and/or take a nap, both inside and out. Following the hurricane in 2015, unlike many, our condo was completely gutted again, and every piece of furniture and wood was replaced with new, custom-built cabinetry to ensure that there was no mould left hiding in the unit.

This condo is equipped and furnished with far more amenities than most. Toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, bleach, salt/pepper/spices, sweetener, coffee & filters, tea, sugar, cleaning supplies, dishwasher pucks, napkins, shampoo, conditioner, Ziplocs, saran wrap, tin foil, liquid soap, dish soap, garbage bags, sewing kits, batteries, light bulbs, bug spray, pads/pens, computer printer paper, etc. are provided as a courtesy to our guests. There is also a safe & flat iron in this unit. The tap/fridge water/ice is safe. Perfect location.

We just got back from staying at this amazing condo. It is located right in the middle of both of the resort's pools. We spent every evening laying in the lounge chairs watching and listening to the waves. I fell asleep many nights to the sound of the waves crashing. Friendly staff, beautiful condo with all the bells and whistles. This place is gorgeous. The master bed was super comfortable and our kids slept awesome on the pullout couch. Short walk to the the marina. Great staff. I just cannot say enough nice things about our stay here. Thank you Joe for allowing travelers to enjoy your place. WE LOVED IT!!!!

Best place in Cabo if you're looking for beauty and peace

This unit is the absolute best place in Cabo if you want insanely gorgeous views, a spectacular condo, a delightful staff, 2 beautiful pools and an awesome little pool restaurant and bar. Sit on the patio and watch the boats come in, rays fly, and waves crash. This place is close enough to the action of Cabo's restaurant and bar scenes to get there easily but far enough to offer respite and serenity. I would never even consider a different unit in Cabo. Perfection.

Amazing Oasis

This little Jem is an ideal location for travelers to Cabo who want a perfect relaxing vacation! The condo is completely stocked with what ever you may need. We chose to cook most of our meals in the condo and and we easily found every thing we needed, just like being in your own kitchen. The staff was friendly and more than willing to help us with anything we needed or anywhere we wanted to go. Mario at the Palapa bar still makes best drinks ever! He also cooks a mean breakfast, travelors from other resorts we spoke with, said this was the best breakfast on the beach for the best price, I would have to agree!

After a 10 minute walk we were down town in the thick of Cabo where we took advantage of the shopping, excursion opertunities, many restaurants and bars. The best part was knowing we would return to the piece and quite of a night cap on the deck listening to the waves pounding on the shoreline. One evening we ordered, for delivery, a Wicked pizza, again, we were not disappointed, by far that was the best pizza I have ever eaten. During our down days, we sprawled out on the comfy sofa and enjoyed the high end wide screen TV's that offer a large variety of programs and movies, a much needed luxury for these two school gal pals. Most days we would dip in the pool and end up coming back to the deck as it is the best spot to view the action on the ocean in comfort. After a few days and many inquiries it became quite clear our location was the envy of all the beachcomers, no matter where you are in this condo, you can view the ocean. What can I say, this was an excellent vacation, I would come back in a second. I absolutely would recommend this spot, you won't be disappointed, but you better book quick, I am sure it will be snapped up quickly.

Dazed and Amazed - the best unit in Terrasol

I’m not going to bother touting the virtues of the Terrasol Resort itself - chances are if you’re checking out individual units on VRBO, you’ve already discovered this amazing gem of a place…a sleepy hollow on the Pacific, yet a few scant minutes' walk to all the downtown action, should you choose it…FYI, many people do swim on this beach, especially in the winter, you just have to wait for calm days. My spouse and I have previously rented other units in Terrasol and have been privileged enough to stay in this unit in the past, so when it came available again, we jumped at the chance. Not only is it in the best location in the facility, with one of the largest and beautifully furnished patios, but the inside is simply stunning - it appears to have been very professionally decorated and it is apparent that no expense was spared, with not only aesthetics in mind, but also extreme comfort. This condo has been gutted twice (once after Odile). We have stayed in other units where the pics looked great (a pretty pillow thrown on the bed) but on closer inspection, very little money had actually been spent on upgrades (and certainly not the “total renovations” some boast i.e.: original cottage cheese walls still there (which likely means no changes to electrical or plumbing either), original horrid tile flooring with huge grout lines (impossible to keep clean), outdated original Mexican tiling in the washrooms, cheap cabinetry (if changed at all), original heavy doors/closets, cheap appliances etc - so maybe they spent 10K and installed some granite, then they actually charge almost the same amount as other units where it is evident that over 100K was spent… These condos are individually owned and they can charge what they want but buyer beware - do your research - not all units have been finished equally and many are not good value for the prices being asked, compared to others. For what you are getting (including extensive condiments/amenities), this true ocean-front unit (which many purport to be but they are in back buildings) is an excellent bargain. We’ve already booked to return and if you like what you see in the pics (which don’t even do it justice), you had better be quick because they fill up fast...

As good as it gets

Recently, June 2017 I Spent a week in Cabo and Stayed in Terrasol Condo Unit#133 Having stayed here many times over the years in the Terrasol Condo complex in other units, I've always had significant problems with the other units I rented. This unit 133 has no rivals. It's in the best location, you step out the door and your on the beach front row, and the view is as good as it gets. This is the best unit in the Terrasol Condo complex bar none. Everything you could possibly need is already supplied in the unit, everything works in the unit.The unit is in pristine condition you just show up and start your vacation. The owner of this property is absolutely a top shelf guy, He truly tries to make sure your vacation is the best it can be. Do yourself a big favor and book a stay in this unit. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Don Kiser

Best Condo to Enjoy Your Cabo Visit.

Just got home from our vacation and we already miss the view from the condo. The location is perfect, it's spacious, nicely decorated with a cozy eclectic feel, fully stocked with literally everything you need (seriously; it's very well stocked), and it's right off the beach. The views from the condo are terrific and you're going to enjoy waking up in the morning and stepping off your private patio right onto the beach. Other beach goers were definitely jealous as they walked by and saw us lounging around. The condo community is unique and very well taken care of and the staff at the concierge desk are very helpful should you need anything. If you decide to stay here, and we think you should, you'll be close to everything. The condo sits between two pools, one of which has a nice swim-up bar (order a Chunky Monkey), it's a 5 minute walk to the marina and a 20 minute walk to Medano Beach. It's a close enough walk if you want downtown activity/nightlife or if you just want to stroll through the neighborhood (check out the World's Smallest Bar and say hi to Rosie for us). The area felt extremely safe, everyone was friendly and the weather was amazing. Brad and Christina were extremely informative and helpful during our trip, and we absolutely appreciated it.

This property is one of 5 resorts located on Solmar Beach; it is the only full-ownership condo complex - the rest are timeshares or fractional ownership/hotel establishments. When you arrive, you will appreciate our Moorish architecture that blends in with the sand and the environment as well as the extremely low-density; we have only one building that is 3 stories at the rear of the complex, the rest are only 2 stories. You will notice acres of sand in between many of the buildings. Despite the growing populations of the adjacent resorts, at any given time, you will only see a handful of people on the beach, thus you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (no vendors are allowed on our beach). Yet when you walk over the slight hill away from the resort, you will find yourself in the midst of the bustling marina within a 5 minute walk. Within another 5 minutes, you are in the heart of town among its many bars, bistros, nightclubs, flea markets, kiosks, restaurants, taco stands & shopping areas including a high-end mall. Don't forget to take a water taxi to view the famous Land's end arches just around the rocks at the end of our beach. All water sports are also available on Medano beach, a mere 5 minute water taxi away.

Please note that the minimum number of days during Winter, Spring, and Fall are actually 5 days and Christmas is 7 days - we have reduced the number to 3 and 5 above to allow the computer to accept bookings for fill-in dates between the required length bookings. Cancellation policy: if you cancel your booking 30 days or more in advance of arrival date, we will refund you 50% of your deposit. If cancelling with less than 30 days notice, we keep the 50% deposit. That said, if there is a catastrophic event, we are very understanding and reasonable including possible options to re-book your vacation within one year.
