We stayed with our 3 children and were able to see everything we wanted in the Black Hills.

  • 4 of 5

The driveway is stone and can be a bit tricky if it is wet. The location of the property is in the center of everything but still requires quite a bit of driving which is normal for the Black Hills area. We loved the cabin it was clean and neat.

Gorgeous, private, and so welcoming!

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed 4 beautiful days in this spacious, cozy cabin with breathtaking views - with 4 adults and 4 kids.

Well updated, very clean, comfy beds, and stocked with literally anything one could need, from towels to bandaids, from spices to dishwashing liquid - seriously, when they said just bring food and clothes, they meant it!

The hostess was so sweet to call us with some helpful additional directions, and later on, to check if we arrived safely.

The cherry on top was the cutest welcoming basket which even included a bottle of wine and the makings for s'mores!

Thank you so much for giving us this incredible experience!

Peaceful and beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonder five days enjoying the peace and quiet. It was a blessing to be away from technology access and our adult children agreed! The setting of the cabin and the surrounding deck allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the area. Al and Rosemary were most gracious and responsive hosts - we thank them for sharing their marvelous place.

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was amazing. The Roth's were very accommodating. There was a gift basket for us when we arrived. Smores for the kids, a bottle of wine for my husband and I and other goodies. It was the getaway our family has needed. The cabin was very nice. Waking up to the sounds of nature and watching the sun rise and set over the mountains, it couldn't have been any better. It was very relaxing to go back to the cabin after a day of sight seeing. And I loved the fact that there was no cell or Internet service. It got our boys out of the modern technology world to enjoy nature a little more. If we make it back to SD, this is where we will be staying. Thank you Al and Rosemary for helping make our vacation relaxing and enjoyable.

Excellent and a cozy place to stay !

  • 5 of 5

The Roths have a great cabin tucked away in the woods ! We had a great time and I very highly recommended it ! Rosemary was very helpful giving us the necessary directions since its a bit remotely located sans cellular network. When we entered we were greeted with a wonderful gift basket (was our in-laws 45th anniversary) and the place was just amazing! The roth cabin is the best and we will have it atop our list for our visit too.
