Seawards is a first floor apartment within Blue Stone Point, a small development of only 10 apartments located on the edge of Mortehoe village. The living accommodation is open plan with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, spacious dining area and bright comfortable lounge which is fronted by large windows with doors leading out onto a balcony which offers sea views out across the headland - a perfect spot to sit back, relax and watch the glorious sunsets that North Devon enjoys. The balcony extends along in front of the main bedroom which enjoys the same views. This bedroom is light and airy with a king size bed, built in wardrobe and ensuite wet room. The second bedroom is spacious and bright, furnished with twin beds. A family bathroom with over bath shower completes the accommodation.
Morthoe village can be traced back to the Doomsday book and beyond; more recent history is filled with stories of smugglers and wreckers making this an interesting place to explore! The local museum offers plenty of opportunity to find out more about this historic village. It is now a quiet and peaceful village with good facilities including local shop, post office and newsagent, two pubs serving food and local beers, excellent fish and chip shop and a tea room. Mortehoe has excellent access onto the southwest coast path and the surrounding countryside, alongside beautiful beaches making it an ideal location for walkers and those wanting to explore the beautiful surroundings, as well as those wishing to hear the sound of the sea and feel the sand between their toes. Award winning family and dog friendly Woolacombe beach is a 25 min walk or 5 min drive away, providing the perfect spot for surfing, body boarding, rock pooling and of course sun bathing.
