2 rooms of 64 m2 with south facing terrace in the heart of Cannes in park

You'll stay in a former Palace of Cannes entirely transformed into luxury accommodation. This historic site "Gallia" is the heart of a beautiful listed Park. This 64m² apartment with a south facing loggia of 12 m² is close to the city center, 700 meters from the Croisette and beaches, 1.3 km from the Palais des Festivals and 650 m from the railway station. Close to public transport, this accommodation is perfect for couples, families with 2/3 children and business travelers.

Originally in 1888, was created a casino "CASINO OF FLOWERS", composed of a main building, two bell towers, a large hall, a concert gallery, a velodrome and especially to a sweet theater. It must be said that at the end of the 19th century, Cannes drained everything the international elite were more prestigious. Thus, kings and princesses lived there, but to unleash some of their passions (the game), they had to go to either Nice or Monte Carlo. Cannes had to have the casino and it was prestigious.

This place is not ordinary: the south side, one can enjoy the sun and the listed park. On the north side, the eye takes in the hills of the "California" and its beautiful villas and mansions. The Gallia is the only residence surrounded by a Mediterranean park, 8 minutes from the Croisette and 15 minutes from the Palais des Festivals and congress on foot.

Even within the GALLIA, these places also have a history that is part of the history of Cannes: In the 1900s, the Gallia Palace was a Belle Epoque known as Gallia Hotel and Casino des Fleurs. In the late fifties, the upper floors on the 2nd level were demolished and a new building was erected on the old base. Originally it was the Gallia Palace ballroom. Then Mrs. Rosella Hightower, founder of the School of Dance of Cannes, which gave its name to the avenue Isola Bella Rosella Hightower north bordering the condominium of Gallia, it created the Grand Studio that came Béjart and Nureyev. Today, converted into apartments "Gallia Suite Béjart Classic" and "Classic Suite Gallia Nureyev." In 1959, the Gallia Hotel is razed and rebuilt as a residence by the architects Leyrit Serge Denis Pons, Claude Kimmoun and Andrej Robowski for SCI Gallia residence.

In 1963, they added two wings back and 4th northwest building for SCI Gallia Panoramic.
