A little taste of paradise

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The view from the front garden where we sat in the evenings with a glass of wine was just stunning. The little brook gave the place a quiet and idyllic ambience.

We were fortunate enough to have glorious weather so did a lot of walking. We found an excellent pub in Monyash called The Bull's Head - go there with a good appetite!!

We did not want to come home and would have thoroughly enjoyed another week - maybe next year. The only thing we had a problem with was the TV which we like to relax with in the evenings. Sometimes we could get a picture, sometimes nothing. On our last evening we could only get one channel being unable to change channels but it was a minor thing. Also, our mobile phone would not work.

But, we would book Kingfisher Cottage again.
