Attractive self catering chalet for a family of 4, dog friendly, near beach.

The Isle of Wight is an excellent holiday destination there is something for everyone. The Island is packed with stunning views of natural beauty, beaches, local attractions, walks, water sports and much more. Chalet 113 is a modern newly refurbished self catering chalet located in a beautiful setting on a cliff top between Sandown and Culver/Bembridge down. Providing comfortable accommodation for a family of 4, with 2 bedrooms, one is a double bedroom and the other one has single bunk beds. A newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped and sitting room area containing a comfortable 3 seater leather sofa and a relaxing chair where you can watch a flat screen TV and DVD built in. For dinning there is a 4 place dining table and chairs. The bathroom is light and airy with an electric shower. There is an outdoor garden area where children can play. The site is dog friendly and only 5 minutes walk away from Yaverland Beach which also allows dogs all year. The location is also ideal for local attractions, pubs, restaurants, and enables easy travel by buses or train stations.

About Mrs Clare Poulter

I grew up on the mainland originally, with my Grandma. Got married 20 years ago to my Husband and have a daughter. Trained as a Teaching Assistant. We always spent lots of happy summer family holidays on the Island and decided 5 years ago to relocate to the Island where we both work. After loosing my Grandma last year I decided to buy a chalet as she had always wanted to move near the coast and I wanted something in her memory to make other families enjoy priceless memories of family holidays and happy sunny days out on a Island we fell in love with.

Why Mrs Clare Poulter chose Yaverland

This property is brilliant for family holidays and you can even bring your furry best friend. Located near a beautiful beach full of soft sand ideal for building sand castles with your children or walking your dog. The beach has also been home to lots of fossil finds, many you can see in a nearby attraction at The dinosaur Island. The Island beaches are kept clean and weather permitting the sea can be very inviting for a paddle/ swim, but care must be taken. The property has a beautiful National Trust coastal path one way leads down onto Yaverland beach and other towards Culver Downs.

What makes this chalet unique

We fell in love with this property as it has a lovely tranquility feel about it inside and where 113 is located is a lovely grass garden area idea for sitting out enjoying the coastal weather or playing with your children. Even the animals can chill.

LOvely clean little chalet in a great location for Yaverland beach and Bembridge Down.

This ticked the box for our ambition to have a beach based holiday.

Also added bonus of the Culver Haven inn at the top of Bembridge Down - good food and beer and a fantastic walk and views.

Lovely green and open areas for kids to play on.

Nearest shop we found was Co-Op in Sandown but no immediate parking. For a big shop - big Tesco near Ryde was best.

The chalet was lovely, a real home from home and after spending all day exploring the lovely island, going back to the chalet to freshen up, the power shower was very welcoming. all the furniture was nice and comfy, the chalet is well looked after and nice and clean. Thank you for the personnel touches like the milk already in the fridge, also the tea, coffee and sugar. We really enjoyed our holiday on the lovely island and the weather was awesome all week.

Clean, comfortable and close to the beach

We stayed 1st week of July 2018 and we had a really relaxing and comfortable stay. The chalet is 5 minuted from the nicest beach I been for a long time. It's nice stroll to town but if you rather take the car it's only 5 minutes drive. Our hosts were so kind because they left some milk for us in the fridge so we started the holiday with a well earned cup of tea. The chalet was beautifully clean and well equipped. They even thought of washing liquid. There was a lot of thought put into this place. The chalet is conveniently close some amazing trails if you love walking. Also close to some of the the tourists sights. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Its an excellent value for the price. Thank you for everything. Gaby O
