Aoria Estate is a boutique villa 200 s.m. of 3 bedrooms , ideally located near Armeni and Kalyves, in the heart of Apokoronas region, within a traditional Cretan estate. Feel the hellenic hospitality, explore natural tastes, sense real Crete!

A private infinity pool with jacuzzi is available in our premises next to our spacious exteriors with lounge area under the pergola, patio with sun loungers and botanical garden.

Check-in: after 16:00, Check-out: until 11:00

Aoria Estate is situated 18 km from Chania Town and features views of Apokoronas valley and Souda bay surrounded by the White Mountains of Crete.

Free WiFi and free private parking is available on site.

Three (3) air-conditioned bedrooms available, with comfortable beds and cozy rooms:

- two large bedrooms with king size beds and option for either baby cot or an extra single bed at each room,

- one bedroom with option either for 2 single beds or 1 king size bed.

Flat-screen LED TVs are offered in all bedrooms and in the living room.

Two bathrooms with toilet, one at each floor.

Cozy living room and spaceous dining area in the ground floor. Portable Bluetooth NFC speakers and Hi-Fi in the main area for your music and media.

For those with artistic interests a piano and a painting-easel with painting equipment is at your disposal in the main house area.

The kitchen includes all amenities like oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster as well as espresso and filter coffee machines or tea.

Other facilities at Aoria Estate include a sun terrace with seating area and sunbeds, a veranda with barbeque and dining area, garden with lawn, flowers and Cretan aromatic herbs, vineyard and a farm with all kinds of trees, e.g. olive, lemon, orange, fig, apricot, etc.

Aoria Estate is set near Kalyves and Armeni villages.

Beautiful beaches are only 5 min away by car in Kalyves, Kiani Akti and Almyrida, 3.5, 5, and 7 km away respectively. There you can also find nice restaurants, cafes and bars.

Armenoi, is a beautiful small village where you can enjoy local tastes and the Cretan hospitality in the small tavernas and cafeterias under the huge platan trees around a small river that crosses the village.There you may also buy traditional Cretan products.

The cosmopolitan town of Chania is 18 km away (approx. 20 min drive in high season).

The nearest airport is Chania International Airport, 29 km from the property.

Why Vangelis & Elpida chose Apokoronos

This villa has been built and surrounded with love by our family for years. Have spent memorable moments with family and friends, during all seasons; feasts during Easter or during wine making in September, olive harvesting in our olive grove in early winter every year, etc.

It has been recently renovated in 2016 and also 2017 (pool and new exteriors) in order to run as a professionally rented villa and welcome our guests in its facilities. We hope you enjoy it also.

Situated at an ideal location in the heart of Apokoronas region, this villa features amazing views of Apokoronas valley surrounded by the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) of Crete. You can enjoy a magnificent sunset while relaxing in the infinity pool or lounge area, gazing at the Aptera hill with the Koules castle and the Apokoranas valley until the Souda bay in front of you.

Easy access to the villa through the main road allows you to be within minutes in all the nearby villages or attactions, making transportation from / to the villa a peace of cake.

Phantastisches Anwesen in toller Lage

Das Ferienhaus steht in einem Olivenhain und ist nagelneu renoviert (innen wie außen). Die Ausstattung an Möbeln, Textilien und Geräten lässt keine Wünsche offen, schon garnicht dank "Zimmerservice", der alle 3-4 Tage durchgeführt wird.

Die Küche, der Grill, gemauerter Ofen, WLAN, Pool, Sonnenliegen, atmosphärische indirekte Beleuchtung, überdachter Carport, Terasse mit Weinbewuchs und geschmackvolle Einrichtung laden zum Verweilen und Entspannen im Haus ein.

Generell liegt das Haus (nahe Chania) sehr gut, um Westkreta zu entdecken. In den Nachbarorten sind alle Geschäfte, Tavernen, Metzger etc. die man benötigt, um sich selbst zu versorgen.

Take a relaxing tour through the naturalist path by the river in Armeni village and enjoy the Cretan natural environment, passing through olive groves, vineyards and huge platan trees. Then you can have a nice rest in the traditional cafe in Armenoi square or by the seafront in Kalyves [6 km from Aoria Estate].

Pay a visit in Ancient Aptera and explore a civilization blooming for more than 1000 years since 1400 B.C until the Roman times. Must see the ancient theater, the cisterns and the castle (Koules) at the edge of the hill in Aptera, above Souda bay [12km from Aoria estate].

Take a tour in Apokoronas and Sfakia region until the South edge of Crete with the amazing beaches in the Libyan sea. Heading west from Aoria estate, 9 km away is the beautiful traditional village Vryses where you can take an exit from the northern national road towards the Sfakia region; there through a memorable route on the Lefka Ori (White Mountains), crossing the traditional villages of Askyfou and Impros, you can visit amazing sights & beaches like Chora Sfakion, Frangokastello, Loutro, Marmara, etc.

At Impros you can enter the Impros Gorge and take and 8 km long hike through an amazing route surrounded by the high mountains of Sfakia fisted with firs and pine trees.

Visit Omalos plateau located at a height of 1080m [56 km from Aoria Estate] through a memorable route in the Mousouron region and enter the world famous Samaria Gorge National Park (http://www.samaria.gr/language/en/), hiked every day by thousands of visitors. Samaria Gorge is a unique monument of nature and a World's Biosphere Reserve. There through a breathtaking 17 km long route you will exit the gorge at the beautiful village of Agia Roumeli by the sea. Have a splash in the beautiful sea, enjoy a good meal in the traditional restaurants and wait for the boat to take you to Chora Sfakion for the way back. Our recommendation is to visit the Samaria Gorge through a professionally organised tour.
