Residence Mistral is located in the center of the Canneto bay, the most sought after beach on the island of Lipari. The apartments overlook the sea, less than 10 meters from the beach and enjoy a magnificent panorama, with the islands of Panarea and Stromboli in the foreground. It is a small complex that within a few tens of meters has all the most important services. The apartments, studios and apartments, are furnished with care, taste and functionality, and are equipped with an equipped kitchenette, microwave, fridge, air conditioning, color TV, wall safe, wireless ADSL line. In addition to the apartments, the Residence also makes use of Casa Marinella and Casa Miky, located at the end of the promenade, in Calandra, always 10 meters from the beach and Villa Portynord and Villa Portysud, two splendid buildings surrounded by greenery, located in an elevated position on the Porticello beach, with the unrepeatable scenery of the white pumice quarries.

False Advertising & Horrible Customer Service

When we checked in we were shown to a room facing the alley way. When I spoke with Stefania she said that unfortunately the room with the view,that we had booked, had been rented to someone else. We were frustrated because the main reason we chose to stay there was the amazing view advertised in the VRBO ad. When we requested a refund they refused. When we looked on another site it showed the same view room as available that night and at a higher rate. When we confronted them about it they made up an excuse. They were so incredibly rude to us that despite not getting a refund we moved to another hotel. I get the impression Maria and Stefania pull this scam all the time, don’t fall for it.

schitterend uitzicht en heerlijk koele kamer

Het verblijf in Canneto was zeer aangenaam. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit kamer. Heerlijk koele kamer. Aansluitingen met openbaar-vervoer(bus/boot) zijn uitstekend. Super dicht bij zee met kiezelstrand. Veel eetgelegenheden, dus thuis koken is niet nodig. Je hebt niet een auto nodig om je te vermaken op de eilanden.
