Little gem
Beautiful place close to so many cool experiences
Good value but basic
Marta was a wonderful host, sharing information on the area and attractions. She even mailed us a sock I missed in the laundry! Apartment is basic but comfortable. We really enjoyed the neighborhood, which is not at all touristy.

Séjour agréable
Accueil chaleureux par Marta qui est venue nous chercher à la sortie du métro. Logement agréable et quartier sympa. Je recommande.
Location
One of the safest neighborhoods in Lisbon (Assembly of the Republic and seat of the Socialist Party) and with the best connection in terms of transport. Historic area full of gardens, museums, antique shops, and at the end of the street is the Assembly of the Republic. It is the central zone of Lisbon where you can rest but if you are near the fun zones, you can even walk.
There are all possible transport: buses, metro 2 min. on foot. Train to Cascais at 10 min on foot as well as train to Sintra, in Restauradores to 15 min. on foot! The airport is accessible by metro on a 25 minute journey.
