Old fashioned, but fine for a week!
Old fashioned, small place, good for a week. Fantastic location, loads to do. Full review on trip ad.
Thank you so much for taking the time to put together such a lovely review. We're so pleased to hear you had a fantastic stay at Natures Corner. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Isle of Wight soon!
Location was good
The location was really good and cottage was lovely apart from the comfort of the beds. The mattresses need to be replaced as was uncomfortable to sleep on. Apart from that it was a lovely stay.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this valuable feedback and I will ensure your comments about the mattresses are passed onto the owner. We hope to welcome you back to the Isle of Wight again soon!
summer break at Natures corner
The chalet was okay, just a few things had small issues, the cooker and fridge were both uneven which meant having to double check each time the fridge door was closed that it had actually closed, and cooker is uneven so things tended to slide to the right.
The bathroom was beautifully refurbished, but needs a loo roll holder!. The carpet in the lounge area was a bit of a health and safety issue as we all tripped over it several times, and the covers over the suite were a pain as they moved all the time, would be better to have fitted ones. Could benefit from a few games, pack of cards etc. Overall it wasn't bad it is a bit tired in certain areas, but a good base for our holiday.
Thank you for your feedback it is appreciated, we will send review back to the owner for her to review for 2018 season. Many thanks Home From Home Holidays.
Thank you so much for taking the time to put together such a lovely review. We're always thrilled to receive positive feedback and we will ensure your comments are passed onto the owner. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Isle of Wight soon!
Sandown Bay, with Shanklin to the south and Yaverland and Culver Cliff to the north, offers stunning sandy beaches, which are gently sloping and ideal for safe bathing. One of the few towns on the island which has retained its pier, Sandown provides amusements, fairground rides and facilities for anglers. It is a family resort with a variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as Browns pitch and putt, the Zoo with a tiger sanctuary and even the ‘Dinosaur Isle' museum.
Yaverland is easily accessible by car or on foot. There's ample parking, a kiosk and toilet facilities as well as the yacht club. The area is great for families and adjoins the towering chalk cliffs of Culver.
The Isle of Wight is famous for its superb beaches, dramatic coastlines and outstanding natural beauty, making it a holiday haven with something for everyone. From secluded coves and wide expanses of sandy beaches to coastal paths and woodland, it's not just the stunning landscapes that attract visitors to the island, but also the variety of things to see and do. Rich in a wide variety of sporting and leisure activities, it's no wonder visitors return year after year. Self-catering is the most popular option because it is both cost effective and offers the flexibility and freedom to come and go as you please.
