A 2 bedroomed ,modern apartment (no smoking) close to the beach and coastal path

Arvor is a light ,modern 2 bedroomed ,non smoking ,well equipped,ground floor apartment near Falmouth with underfloor heating and a parking space for one car. It has a large open plan kitchen /dining/living space opening into a patio with garden table and chairs .The lounge has a wall mounted fire ,40 “ TV ,Blu Ray DVD player,free & unlimited wifi and iPod docking station . The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and fridge freezer and has a separate utility room with washer/dryer & sink. There are two bedrooms with non allergenic duvets & pillows - the master bedroom has a Kingsize bed and an ensuite shower room with large walk in shower.The second bedroom has twin beds. There is a separate family bathroom with bath and electric shower over the bath . It is a non smoking apartment and regretfully pets are not allowed to stay.

The apartment is just moments from the coastal path overlooking Falmouth bay and a few minutes walk to the lovely sandy Maenporth beach . The beach has a cafe and a

very popular restaurant (The Cove ) . There are some beautiful coastal path and countryside walks right on the doorstep and the local village of Mawnan Smith has an Inn and a range of shops including a supermarket with post office ,cafe & restaurant.

The apartment is an ideal base for walkers or families but in order to fully enjoy the surrounding area ,a car is needed.

Why Gill Fine chose Maenporth

I spent many days at Maenporth as a child and love the coastal path walk from Falmouth to Maenporth . The walk is an easy coastal path with stunning scenery and the beach cafe and The Cove are two of my favourite outside eating places .Maenporth is a lovely sandy cove popular with families as it is ideal for sunbathing and rock pooling .

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is bright and airy but always feels cosy even on a winter's day due to the underfloor heating -even in the bathrooms ! I like the open plan living with its wooden floors and the modern kitchen with granite worktops . Most of all I enjoy the views of Falmouth Bay from the field just across the road and the superb coastal and rural paths right on the doorstep .

There are several lovely coastal path walks just outside the apartment and a range of outdoor activities are available in the vicinity .These include Paddle Boarding ,Kayaking , Golf Crazy golf & Tennis . There are also several beautiful gardens and the historic Pendennis Castle within a 15 minute drive away.

This apartment was perfect, comfy beds, light and airy with everything you need. Close to the beach

We have been travelling for two months and this apartment was by far the best rental we have stayed in. Perfect for our family with our two young children. The apartment is a good size and had everything you could possibly need during a holiday in terms of amenities and equipment. Great location with an easy walk down to the beach and lovely cotton sheets and comfy beds. We very much look forward to staying again when we return from Sydney next year. Thank you Gill for all your clear communications and wonderful hospitality. You have thought out this rental with lots of care and thought.

The apartment is situated two minutes walk from the coastal path with stunning sea views ,leading to Maenporth's sandy cove with a restaurant and cafe .The nearest village is Mawnan Smith which is about a 5 minute drive away and has a small selection of shops including a supermarket ,cafe

and The Red Lion Inn .The nearest town is Falmouth which is about a 10 minute drive away .Falmouth has beaches ,two cinemas,art galleries,a wide range of shops plus various outdoor activities including water sports ,golf ,pitch & putt, crazy golf & tennis .There are also several hotels with gyms and spa facilities and 'Ships & Castles Leisure Centre' .There is the Phoenix multi screen cinema and live shows are held regularly at The Poly in Falmouth centre and also at the Princess Pavillions near the sea front . Other places to visit in Falmouth include Pendennis Castle (English Heritage ) and the Maritime Museum .From Falmouth you can take a pasenger ferry to St Mawes or Trelissick (National Trust Property ) or the train to Truro and beyond

There are also two beautiful Gardens nearby -Glendurgan (National Trust) and Trebah . Trebah often hosts outdoor theatre /events during the Summer.
