On arrival into the property, which sits on a picturesque street of 1930’s style houses, a spacious hall with original corniced ceilings leads straight ahead to the eat-in kitchen at the rear and its adjacent play room/TV area. The kitchen is a light and airy space with sweeping wooden floors and modern facilities installed. There is a benched dining table which sits by the rear access to the garden, bathed in light from large patio doors. The adjacent, adjoining TV room has a wall-mounted plasma Television for guests to enjoy, as well as a play area with books, toys, music system and a foosball table. Both rooms have access to the back garden, which has a decked area for al fresco dining, as well as a large grassy lawn lined with trees and plants, with a children’s climbing frame and trampoline.
There is a formal bay-windowed living area also on the ground floor which is tastefully decorated and has an impressive fireplace. Guests can relax or entertain in this comfortable space which has a sofa, armchairs as well as a flat-screen Television.
Just off the kitchen is a pantry, utility room with a handy downstairs WC.
You will find four bedrooms as well as two bathrooms, one of which has a free-standing bath whilst the other is fitted with a walk-in shower, to suit all tastes. As you reach the landing you will find a spacious child’s room on the right with lilac walls and a single bed. Due to the size of the room, we are able to set up a double air bed to sleep two further guests (on request). Immediately opposite this is an equally spacious bedroom with a king-sized bed, book shelves and ample storage space. Along the corridor is a third bedroom which doubles as a smart study area with a king-sized sofa bed and interesting collection of books, allowing guests to use this space as a bedroom as well as a quiet reading/working space. The fourth bedroom is a minimalist and light room with a double bed and wardrobe.
The spacious fifth bedroom on the top floor has a single bed and children’s toys and books, however we can also bring in a double air bed should you require one. There is also a modern shower room on the top floor, for convenience.
