About the property

Sleek and modern 1 bed apartment, featured in James Bond's Spectre!

The crowning jewel of the apartment is the large living area and open-plan kitchen. Its all-glass walls offer a stunning panoramic view of the River Thames and some of the famous landmarks of Westminster. However the interior is just as stunning, with a very modern finish of sleek black mirrored walls and polished marble floors. The sitting space has a huge L-shaped sofa and a recliner as well as a plasma TV for entertainment. The pristine kitchen is fitted with the very best facilities for use such as a dishwasher, electric hob and fitted microwave. It has a beautiful, modern design with a mirrored breakfast table and concealed fridge-freezer. By the sitting area is a raised platform which is set up with a 4-seater dining table so guests can enjoy the wonderful view over an evening meal or breakfast. This restful space has a large wardrobe for storage and a King-sized bed with pleasant art-work hanging above it. This is a great property right on the Thames.

  • 4 of 5

We would have given 5 stars except we were there during a heat wave and the air recycling system didn’t get turned on so the apartment was very hot for the first couple of days. Once we spoke to the building concierge he was able to sort it out and turn the system on. It was a great spot once it wasn’t hot.

Cool space. Nice view of the Thames. Doorman. Elevators. Warm with the daytime sun.

  • 4 of 5

Cool, well layed out place with a good view. (not exactly panoramic of the Thames from he 4th floor due to building between this unit and the river. Good view from the corner of the flat.

Nice having 3 elevators and a full time doorman. The bed is very comfortable with nice pillows. The bathroom is good size with a nice shower and good water pressure.

The unit gets very hot due to the direct sun light during the day. Suggestion is to lower the shades but they have seen better days and need replacement in order to work properly. The temperature control is a bit complicated. Turning on switches in a hall closet rather then using a thermostat. This could be corrected.

The response to needs was very good although the repair person could not fix the hard to move closet doors. The washer / dryer door hinge is weak and needs repair and the stovetop did not work until a call was made to correct. It was corrected the same day. Nice!

It's about a 10 minute walk to the Pimlico or Vauxhall Undergrowns.

I would have rated this flat a 5 if the blinds were working correctly, the appliances functioning upon arrival, and the temperature control with a proper termostate.

The rental management company was professional, available and responsive.

I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful and in a great location

  • 3 of 5

This flat is beautiful, in a great lacation, and well-equipped.

The interior is just as pictured, with a lovely view of the Thames from the large living area & dining platform. You can even catch a tiny glimpse of the London Eye from the bedroom window.

Every amenity is provided in the modern kitchen, though we used it very little during our stay.

The location is within walking distance to Pimlico and Vauxhall tube stops, as well as Vauxhall rail station. Which makes getting around London (and beyond) a breeze! Yet is away from the more congested/touristy areas of London.

The king size bed is very comfortable and provided a good night's rest after long days out.

Our only complaint is that the apartment was unbearably HOT by 9am and didn't cool down easily, even when we used the AC (which the on-site information discourages).

To be fair, our stay was during a record-breaking heat wave... 28 degrees in April!! But perhaps this issue ought to be addressed for the sake of summer travelers. I would have given full 5 stars otherwise.

Overall, I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great home base from which to explore London and surrounding area.

Luxurious apartment

  • 5 of 5

One of Tom's team greeted me and welcomed me to the apartment. I didn't really need them much during my stay but the communication was very good with them, and they were very nice. This gorgeous apartment is true luxry. It gives you the feeling of staying at a 5-star hotel. I've stayed in many apartments in London and this one has the most beautiful view. There is nothing like starting your day with this gorgeous view while having your breakfast. It's a rarity in London's apartments. The pictures are an accurate representation of it and the beautiful modern style. Also a great wifi connection :-) ..I'm not sure why landlords don't understand the importance of a good wifi connection. The apartment I stayed in before this one I had to use the wifi of a restaurant next to me because I got disconnected so many time. A slow wifi connection is also an issue in many hotels. Well, you will be very happy with the wifi here. This apartment has the best wifi connection I've ever seen. It was always fast and I never got disconnected. I just enjoyed the fast connection when I was doing research on London. Thank you so much for the fast wifi connection. You have 3 grocery stores ( Waitrose is the best one ) and Vauxhall and Pimlico tube stations are very close. A tip if you want to take the bus somewhere : on apple or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map do your " current location " first to get the buses information but also do Vauxhall station and you'll get different busses. I always enjoy the busses more than the tube. Tate Britain is very close but sadly I didn't have a chance to go. You also have a 24-hour concierge and they are very nice. If I lived in London I think I'd buy this apartment :-)
