4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, rural & private with mountain views, with private annexe

A spacious, private and rurally located villa on the outskirts of Gata de Gorgos, on the east coast of Spain.

The house is secure with remote-control electric front gates and security lighting.

In the main house there is a large master bedroom with super king bed, stunning mountain views and en suite bathroom (with bath and shower). The house also features a double room, a twin room and a family bathroom (with shower). A further bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom (with shower) can be found across the terrace in a separate annexe building. All bedrooms have air conditioning units.

The lounge has 2 x sofas (1 x 3-seater sofa/ sofa-bed, 1 x 2-seater sofa), air conditioning, wood burning stove, 60” LED television with Sky+ HD and Sky Sports HD, DVD player, a selection of books. An additional seating area is located in the Naya with a large corner sofa.

There is a fully operational kitchen with dishwasher, induction hobs, oven and large American style fridge freezer, along with two spacious dining room areas each with table and seating for 6-8 people. A laundry room with washing machine is also available.

The outdoor space is vast, with spacious outdoor terraces and numerous seating areas. There is a 10 x 4 metre outdoor swimming pool with underwater lighting and 8 x poolside sun loungers. The house has a Sonos music system with BOSE outdoor speakers located on the main terrace along with a gas BBQ.

High-speed wifi is available throughout the house.

Beautiful rural spacious villa with everything you need!

Arrived after a few wrong turns but once there it was easy to access the villa.

Walking out onto the terrace and seeing the view is wonderful. Then glancing down to see the sparkling pool makes you realise you have chosen well!!

The rooms are all spacious with much needed air con and were clean and tidy. We ate out on the terrace every mealtime but there is a good sized dinning table inside too. The kitchen has a nice big fridge.

The fridge by the pool is an added bonus so you don’t have to stray far to get a cold drink.

We went to La Republica in Denia for lunch and they were so friendly and the food was terrific, great for looking at all the lovely boats too. We couldn’t find the market in Denia but went to the beach instead which was a little rustic but the sea was nice and shallow for little ones and a good temperature.

We also ventured out to Javea to La Boheme which also had great food and very friendly service, the beach there was much bigger but also packed with people!

The local town of Gata is sweet and best to wonder down the side streets off the main road to get a feel for the place.

We did one big shop at Carrefour and then topped up from the local supermarket which worked perfectly.

All in all a wonderful relaxing break!

Fantastic villa

We had a very relaxing week at Cass Jenisi. The villa is well-maintained and has everything we needed for a family holiday. Andy and Jackie were waiting for us at the villa and were very welcoming. The pool is lovely and very refreshing in the current heatwave. The air conditioning meant that we were able to relax indoors as well as outdoors on one of the three sun terraces. The villa is very spacious so we were all able to have our own space when we wanted it. You will need a car as the villa is a 20 minute walk from Gata de Gorgos and it is handy if you want to go to the beach. We really enjoyed Moraira which is a 20 minute drive from the villa. I would highly recommend this villa for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Thank you Andy and Jackie for being so.welcoming and helpful.

Great family escape

A little piece of heaven.

From the greeting when we arrived, to the time we sadly left, we had a wonderful stay.

The description on the site does not do the villa justice. A chance to relax in a Spanish villa with the occasional sound of the horses next door. We were a family group with 3 generations, aged from 3 to 64. There was enough room that everyone had room to relax.

From the grandchildren in the pool from the minute we opened the gates, till we locked them out, to some of the adults relaxing in the swing chairs or on the terrace's. Peace and quiet relaxation!!! Word of warning. Don't let the teenagers use the wonderful sound system, if you want to relax!!!

In the evening enjoying barbecuing the evening meal, and when you needed lemons for your drink, you picked them straight from the tree!

If you want a beach they are just a 15 minute drive away.

I would tell all my friends to book this, but I won't! I want to keep this piece of Spanish heaven to myself so we can rebook!!!!

Seriously I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa for a relaxing family holiday. In fact I have already recommended it!!

Impressive villa in a lovely and peaceful location.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The villa is in a lovely location, very peaceful and within a few minutes drive of the local town of Gata de Gorgos. Numerous and spacious outdoor areas, giving lots of options. Fabulous terrace with shaded table and chairs, for long lunches and even longer evening meals. There's a separate seating area on this terrace, which is lovely for sundowners. Very well equipped throughout the villa. We would not hesitate in staying at Villa Jenisi again and can not recommend it highly enough.

Exceeded All Expectations & More!

The Location - As first time travellers to this region of Spain, we had no idea what to expect. It would be fair to say it surpassed all expectations and some!

The immediate surroundings to the villa itself are private, spacious & tranquil. As for the views, they are far reaching, beautiful and just damn right impressive.

In terms of positioning for excursions and eating out in the evening; the villa manages to find the 'perfect' balance between having a peaceful and exclusive base, but also being very close and accessible to the area's must see's! These include the local town of Gata de Gorgos and neighbouring towns, such as Dénia & Xàbia. If you are more of a city goer, both Alicante & Benidorm are very viable for day trips.

As for for the villa itself - wow, just amazing.

Upon arrival to the villa, the first and foremost feelings you have, are exclusivity & class. Once you have successfully passed through the electric gates and have parked in the large & private drive, you get a feeling of not only how large the villa is itself, but also the scale of the entire plot that accompanies it.

To the best of my memory, this comprises of:

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, 3 reception rooms and kitchen within the main villa. Then a further self contained double room and ensuite apartment accessible from them main terrace / BBQ area. All of the bedrooms / bathrooms / reception rooms & kitchen are finished to a very high standard and also very well equipped.

For us personally, the 'pièce de résistance' of this villa is the multi levelled, well lit, large outside space.

Immediately from the kitchen door, you get what we called the 'upper terrace'. This consists of a dining area with optional sun cover, fully functional BBQ and then a further 'after dinner' chill out area with rattan table & chairs. This is where we soaked in the the sensational views, come morning, noon & night. This is also a great night time drinks area as has great outdoor lighting and music system.

Then a winding stair case takes you down from 'upper deck' to what we called 'the middle deck'! This is a perfect sun trap and equipped with modern swinging sun lounges. This area is great for some midday professional sun tanning or with our goofy bunch, some very abstract musical production - using the winding stairs down as there entry to the 'stage'! ** Also please note for prankster husbands, the swinging sun loungers are directly under a window; cold water alert!

The town of Gata de Gorgos is 2 kilometres from the villa, and boasts all of the facilities you need on holiday, including a variety of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. It takes approximately 20 minutes to walk or less than 5 minutes to drive from the villa into the centre of Gata.

The rural location of the villa means that there are plenty of walking routes on your doorstep. Cycle hire is also available in the nearby town of Javea.

Javea (9km from Gata) is a popular coastal resort at the foot of the Montgo mountain. It is situated on the most easterly point of mainland Spain, and has beautiful beaches and promenade with restaurants, bars and many shops. In the Old Town, you can wander down ancient narrow streets and visit the local market on a Thursday. The Gothic fortified church of San Bartolome dominates the centre of Javea’s town. At the side of the church is a beautiful building which houses the indoor market where you can buy local fresh produce daily. The port area, known as Aduanas de Mar, boasts a lovely promenade and some excellent fish restaurants. Javea’s rugged coastline is indented with secluded coves and sandy beaches. The Arenal area offers a beautiful sandy bay with palm trees and play areas for children. The bay is framed by the promenade with its wonderful choice of bars and restaurants offering national and international dishes.

The larger town of Denia (11km from Gata) has a beautiful marina, castle and fast ferry connections to Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca and Formentera, as well as beaches and good shops. Denia is a working town so has a real Spanish feel, whereas Javea is very much more a tourist town. Denia’s facilities are excellent – a modern hospital, spas, two high quality golf courses in La Sella and Oliva Nova. At night Denia buzzes with nightlife, not necessarily discos but more with the hundreds of bars, live entertainment and restaurants, many of which are right on the sea front. The local Monday market sells fresh fruits and vegetables as well as other locally-made goods and produce. Denia is right on the coast and has 20km of high quality sandy golden beaches. There are a range of watersports such as windsurfing and paddle boarding. To the north of Denia there are the fine sand beaches of Les Marines. To the south of Denia the rocky area of Les Rotes with its spectacular coves of transparent waters which are ideal for those who enjoy diving or snorkelling

Day trips (within a one-hour drive of the villa) include Aqualandia Water Park in Benidorm (approximately 45km) and Algar Waterfalls (approximately 50km) where you can walk through the bed of the river and take a swim in the crystal clear water.

The port city of Valencia is just over 100km north of Gata de Gorgos. It is known for its City of Arts and Sciences, with futuristic structures including a planetarium, an oceanarium and an interactive museum. Valencia also has several beaches, including some within nearby Albufera Park, a wetlands reserve with a lake, walking trails and bird watching.

Benidorm is Costa Blanca’s major tourist resort and approximately 45km from the villa. It is a popular holiday town especially for British holidaymakers. There is a wide range of nightlife with hundreds of bars and nightclubs.

The Balearia ferry sails between Denia and both Ibiza and Majorca. The frequency and duration of crossings vary according to time of year so it is advisable to check the website for current availability and costs (
