Well equipped large property in a lovely quiet location.
We’ve just spent a week in this lovely property. There were three generations in our family group ranging from 5 years to 72, plus a small dog. Everyone found the house and grounds excellent, with plenty of room to separate out and do there own thing when necessary.
Despite it being winter, and during storm Dennis, we were able to make use of the hot tub a couple of times.
The location was lovely and quiet, allowing everyone top sleep really well.
Despite the quiet location many attractions in the area are quickly and easily accessible within a half hours drive, the sea being reached within ten minutes if necessary.
We would all highly recommend this property and hope to book it again in the future.

A week in October
Had a lovely weeks stay. The whole house and kitchen were better than the pictures . Excellent secure grounds for our dog to enjoy. The hot tub and pool room were as good expected. We hope to stay again.

Wonderful Welsh retreat

Lovely property in a gorgeous and unspoiled corner of Wales
Fantastic property on the outskirts of Llangrannog. Modern facilities and the wood fired hot tub kept my husband busy for the week.
Wonderful stay here - will be back I'm sure of it and would 100% recommend a stay here.
Llangrannog is a popular resort with a safe sandy beach on the Cardigan Bay coast between Cardigan and New Quay. It has 2 pubs, the Ship Inn and the Pentre Arms – both serving food, a large and popular Beach Cafe, Baguette Bar / Bistro, Fish and Chip shop, and a general store selling food, papers, beach toys etc.
We are located less than 1/2 mile from the Llangrannog outdoor activity centre with its numerous facilities including, ski slope, swimming pool, climbing wall, go-karts and more

After holidaying in Llangrannog for the last 7 years, Cil-y-Gorwel came up for sale. It was in a sorry state after a fire in the kitchen leaving the house open to the elements and severely damaged. As keen DIY'rs (and with the help of some excellent local tradesmen) my wife and I took the plunge and purchased the property with the view to breathing some life back into it and undertaking a complete renovation. Hopefully you will be able to see from the photographs that we are starting to achieve our end goal to completely transform the property. We visit the house as much as possible and just love the area and friendly warm welcome we have received from the local community.
