I work for the RNLI and have sailed the waters of the Irish Sea for the last 30 years. I hope you will enjoy my seaside home situated in one of the most beautiful places in Wales.
Guy purchased this House in 2016
Why Guy chose Pwllheli
'Glanmor' is superbly positioned on the quiet seafront at Pwllheli. It is ideal for sailors, walkers, cyclists, or those who just enjoy siting on the balcony watching the world go by. Pwllheli is ideally located for those wanting to explore the Lleyn Peninsula. The Welsh Coastal Path passes in front of, and alongside the property. If you like sandy beaches you could stay for a fortnight and visit a different one each day.
What makes this House unique
The views from Glanmor' are simply stunning. The property faces South and enjoys spectacular daybreaks and sunsets looking across the water towards Harlech, Barmouth, St Tudwal's Islands, and Abersoch. The marina and sailing events centre are about 1 mile away (nearer as the gull flies!), and outside the front door the flat promenade and sandy beach extends in either direction for relaxing strolls or dog walking.

What a Gem
This is a lovely property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean, really well furnished and had everything in it that you could need. The views are fantastic and it was wonderful to be able to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the sea. The owner Guy was great to deal with and you can tell that lots of thought has gone in to adding extra little touches to the house to give it a really comfortable and homely feel. The treats on arrival were a really nice touch and much appreciated - thank you!
The house is ideally situated very close to the beach and within easy driving distance to other lovely sights, towns and things to do.
We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a peaceful stay by the sea.
Thank you ever so much for your kind words, Jade. I look forward to welcoming you and your family back next year. Guy
We had a lovely time in a great place!
My family had a great break at your house! It's perfectly situated, beautifully presented and very comfortable.
Thank you for your great review. It means a lot.Guy
Wonderful location. Looking at the sea from the balcony and bedrooms first thing in the morning is a real tonic.
Short walk to the town for shops, pubs and restaurants.
Property itself nice and clean with all mod cons. Good sized bedrooms and bath/shower rooms.
Dealing with the owner, Guy, a real pleasure. Very quick to respond, not just to the initial booking questions but to all further info requests.
If we went back to North Wales this would be our first choice property.
More than a home from home - a happy place!
As a sailor family we are travelling a lot and staying in different places. You get used to giving up your own comforts and adapt, something we did not have to do at Guys home at all. The house is very well set up with everything; utility room with sink and washing machine and an outside drying line if the weather permits, alternatively there is a covered side of the house where wet sail gear can be dried in wet weather. Having 2 bathrooms is another bonus. We loved the downstairs shower, while our daughter preferred the upstairs bath tub. The house is made to a high standard with the 1st floor having open plan kitchen dining living room with lovely sea views. Just over the road is the beach, where we relaxed after a hard day’s sailing. Lovely waters to swim in. The kitchen is very well equipped with pans, pots, colanders and all other cooking utensils. I was impressed. Guy’s place also features new technology. The two Alexa’s (voice activated speakers connected to the internet) were delighting our children and the vast collection of DVDs and smart TV with Netflix were entertaining the whole family and ensured relaxing nights. Just sitting on the first floor balcony listening to the sea was another of our past times in the house. We are hoping to have another event in Pwllheli soon so we can stay here again. Best relaxation ever. Just a happy place!
Thank you for this amazing review. I'm thrilled you enjoyed your stay so much. I do try hard to do what I can to make sure that my guests have the holiday they deserve, and it means a lot when they notice. I wish you and your family the best of luck at the next regatta, and would love to see you again soon.
