But we will be happy to meet your creative needs- so please let us know them in advance!

The 14-ft-high walls have been intentionally mostly left blank for variety of uses, including, but not limited to:

Photo- and video-shoots. This space has been used for these in the past and we will be happy to accommodate your artistic needs

There's also a 2-person futon. On the main (lower) floor there are (2) queen size sleeping sofa-beds (one of them w/additional 2' memory foam topper ). Although far from a stereotypical fluffy bedroom this place offers good sleeping accommodation for any folks 'on the go'.

Full bathroom with a shower. Hair-dryer included. Compact kitchen equipped w/electric stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee & cappuccino makers & electric kettle. There are also: crock pot, rice cooker/steamer, electric grill & panini maker available for your cooking (website hidden) utensils & dishes provided, as well as towels, linens & blankets/ comforters (in winter).

Although the minimal stay is 2 nights in some cases we accept a single-night stay. The base price for a single night is $150.00 plus the regular fees (cleaning and, etc.). The maximum of 3 guests still applies, unless discussed with us directly on a case-by-case basis.

In certain situations we can raise the maximum amount of adult guests (18 yrs +) to 5- there is an additional fee of $15 per night, per each adult guest over 3 up to 5.

Please review all the sleeping & bathroom details in our listing with all folks in your party to make sure you that all will feel comfortable with such accommodations.

Comfort is a subjective term and while we try to provide our guests with the amount of space & privacy the way we perceive it, we understand that some people not only don't mind but actually feel good in more 'densely populated' scenarios.

Parking: free on-street parking next to our building in a quiet but very well exposed & safe alley.

We have kids and we understand and welcome families w/kids.

We also have dogs and we welcome folks w/dogs too, any size, any breed, or a mix of them. Dogs stay for free with their responsible owners. Maximum amount of pets per stay is 2.

Please note: if a dog is to be left alone for any (but no longer than a few hours) period of time it has to be locked in a crate. We have a large size dog crate available for your free use, or bring your own. In any case you are responsible for cleaning after your pet and of course for any damage that they might cause.

The minimum stay is 2 nights but in certain cases we may consider a single night option, please contact us directly to discuss it.

We would be happy to accommodate your particular needs and we'd like to get to know you a bit prior to your arrival to ensure a happy, creative relationship.

Couldn't Ask for a Better Place!

  • 5 of 5

I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Pittsburgh -- the loft is close to a number of attractions in the city and is EXTREMELY convenient with its free parking and keycode access. Eva was the best host and left us a number of snacks and goodies for our time there, and went above and beyond preparing the place for our arrival. The loft itself is absolutely incredible, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I hope to return to Pittsburgh again, soon, and when I do, I will certainly be staying here again!

Felt like we were staying with friends!

  • 5 of 5

Eva is a great host. Snacks and a walk-through was great. The location of this rental made using uber not so expensive as we would stop back between our adventures to drop off bags and refresh. Nice and quiet but still so close to all that Pittsburgh offers. The tweens in our party loved the coolness of the art and spiral staircase and loft and speakers and huge bean bag...it is so unique!

The tweens' parents appreciated the warm shower with great water pressure, coffee and biscotti! Quality appliances, great instructions for the electronics and total control of the thermostat....it is the little things like that that made this a place we all loved.

Great hosts, unique loft

  • 5 of 5

Nice loft, living space, and small well equipped kitchen. But do not eat at home, this place is walking distance to lots of great restaurants. Super host had lots of information on the area and restaurants. Thanks for the great stay.

Would stay here again.

Visited pittsburgh for first time with a friend to check out a steelers game. The place had everything we needed and the location is a little old school but it’s a short walk to a lot of other areas. Good experience.

Weekend Trip Went by Too Fast

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at Eva and Ben's place on a weekend excursion to check out Pittsburgh. We wanted to see the city and its neighborhoods as there's a potential move in our future.

The place is great! We were greeted with a great view of the city as we pulled in. Eva and Ben go out of their way to make sure guests are well taken care of with a lot of small touches. There's plenty to keep you entertained in the space, but we were more interested in hitting the town. It was conveniently located, fairly easy to get to and our hosts' communication was always at our access if there were problems (which there never was).

Our first night we walked around the neighborhood, where we found very friendly people and great local establishments. We continued on foot throughout the night and were able to check out more of the city, downtown, stadiums and a few breweries.

Our second night was more of the same. It was raining, so rather than foot, we drove to the Southside and Lawrenceville. More great food, more great people, more Pittsburgh.

We left early Sunday wanting more.

Because our stay was short (more focusing on the feel of the city and its people) we missed out on some of the many museums and cultural activities Pittsburgh has to offer, quite a few of which are very accessible from Eva and Ben's place.

Our hosts did a great job of providing coziness in an urban setting. They provided all kinds of information and recommendations to make our stay a very positive experience.

We'll see you soon, Pittsburgh! Thank you, Eva and Ben!
