About Steve Sasman
I manage this Cabin for Sandy Bayes, as I own another cabin a few blocks away. Both this cabin and my own were purchased in 2006, a fantastic time to buy real estate if you like high prices :) In order to keep the property, I turned it into a rental and discovered a great way to let travelers really experience Flagstaff like a local. It's so much more interesting than a hotel, and a great use of property that would otherwise sit vacant most of the time.
Steve Sasman purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Steve Sasman chose Kachina Village
Sandy says: 'Having traveled fairly extensively I came to believe that Flagstaff is the most perfect place to live and I love sharing this beautiful area with others. I bought this cabin knowing that it represents the ambience of the area I love.'

Nice clean vacation home, great neighborhood, landlord was wonderful
Loved it!! Steve is very accommodating and made sure we had a great time. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Property is well maintained and has everything you need.
Nice, quiet and close to everything you need to see
Everything was great. We were able to go to Sedona and Flagstaff for day trips and still have a great place to stay for a fraction of the cost! Great communication with the property manager and overly accommodating!
Everything is as pictured.
Enjoyed our stay. About 15 minutes from Flagstaff. Quiet neighborhood. Adequately clean.
May want to bring a shower mat as tub is rather slick. There were a few condiments, other than that you will need to purchase anything you need to cook with. Also pick up some sandwich bags, foil or any extras like that. There were games & DVDs. Beds were fine however more pillows would be appreciated. Wood burning fireplace was very nice as it was cold at night during our stay. I don't know about the TV channels etc., as we were so busy exploring that we didn't have time for TV. Nice central location to explore the area & see the Grand Canyon. Host text me once to see how things were going which was appreciated. Returned damage deposit promptly. No complaints. Would stay here again.
a great place
Sand'ys Sunny Pines Cabin is great. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. We felt right at home. Convenient to running into town, yet definitely a country feel. Nearby Tuthill County Park is a jewel. We'll be back.
As advertised - cozy, quiet, perfect location
Very impressed. Easy to access, no communication problems... Steve texted me the first day to make sure everything went smoothly. Beautiful little cabin in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Flagstaff and reasonable distance for day trips to several national parks & monuments - we enjoyed the Petrified Forest as a day trip and then the Grand Canyon on our way home.TV was equipped with Netflix, kitchen was well stocked with dishes for us to make good meals...the only (extremely minor) problem we had the entire time was that one of the soap dispensers was broken. Literally everything else was perfect!
Cute and warm
We has a great time. House was good. The beds were way too soft for us....had some back pain. All in all a nice place
If you love being surrounded by pine trees and clear, crisp mountain air, you'll fit right in to the leisure mountain living in Kachina Village.
