Atlantic Beach House, 5 Bedroom, Sleeps 12, Private Pool

Bedrooms 5
Property type house
Minimum Stay 1 - 7 nights

About the property

5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 12

With 5 bedrooms and able to sleep up to 12 people, Atlantic Beach House is ideal for those whose vacation philosophy is “the more the merrier.” And because it has a luxe in-ground pool and is only yards from the beach and the Atlantic Ocean, it’s also perfect for anyone who wants to spend as much time possible swimming, surfing, and basking in the Florida sunshine.

Set on nearly an acre of land, Atlantic Beach House is wonderfully private yet conveniently located. A private walkway takes you to the cinnamon-colored coquina beach, and numerous restaurants, shops, and golf courses are just a short drive away. You can even make a day trip of the Orlando theme parks… though once you discover the delights of the house itself, you may never want to leave the premises!

The pool area, for instance, is like having a private resort in your backyard. Start your day with an invigorating swim, and end your evening floating under the stars. When you’re not in the pool you’ll love lazing alongside it in a well-cushioned chair on the gleaming white patio. You can barbecue steaks and burgers on the gas grill and savor them while seated at the patio dining area--and because the patio is screened in, you won’t have to fight off buzzing insects. Should you prefer to eat indoors, the casually elegant dining table can seat at least 6 people, and another 4 can sit at the breakfast bar.

Almost as big a draw as the pool area is the game room, with a pool table, a games table for playing cards, and an air hockey table. Between games, you can work up a sweat on the treadmill or the elliptical, or you can lounge on the couch and watch TV on the wall-mounted flat-screen.

There’s space for the whole gang to sprawl out for movie night in the living room. The huge--and hugely comfortable--sectional sofa can accommodate a crowd. It’s also a fabulous spot to stretch out with your laptop or tablet to take advantage of the free WiFi.

The living room leads out to one of the balconies--yes, Atlantic Beach House has several to choose from, all furnished with inviting seating so that you can kick back with a book and a drink amid the salt-scented sea breeze.

The living room is also adjacent to the breakfast bar and the recently remodeled kitchen. With its granite countertops and sparkling stainless-steel appliances, the kitchen just may bring out your inner chef. The plentiful storage means you can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay, rather than have to keep running out to the supermarket. This will leave you more time to practice your backstroke or search for seashells on the beach.

Catching up on your sleep is another important vacation activity, and it’s one that Atlantic Beach House makes especially enjoyable. Two of its 5 bedrooms have king-size beds, the other two bedrooms have queen-size beds, and the 5th has bunk beds, which will delight the kids. What’s more, one of the sofas converts into a bed for 2, so you won’t have to turn away unexpected overnight guests.

While all the bedrooms are spacious, with lots of storage and niceties such as TVs and full-length mirrors, the master bedroom is a standout. It includes direct access to a balcony--perfect for a romantic moonlit nightcap--and a lavish en-suite bathroom with a separate walk-in shower and soaking tub.

All 3 bathrooms will have more than enough fresh towels ready and waiting--no need to bring your own. In fact, you can pack especially light, as Atlantic Beach House has its own full-size washer and dryer.

Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a getaway for several couples, or a reunion with the old gang, Atlantic Beach House offers a dream location, stellar amenities, and beautiful surroundings. So what’s holding you back? Book your stay today, and get ready for your best vacation yet!

At first glance it looked great. The carpets are a little worn and stained upstairs. A new set of cookware is a must. I cleaned the grill of the AC return in the bedroom to the right of the laundry room. It looks like somebody cut a filter for it (LOL LOL LOL) it is blue and was resting nicely inside the floor of the AC unit. It obvious to me that a real filter made to fit so it does not get sucked into the AC unit.

Do you tell the Homeowner that you replace filters and bill them for a real filter lol.

This is one of the reason the house is caked with dust on all the lights and fans.

The vinyl plank tile is peeling up in a number of locations.

The pool table has a felt top that looks like crap with tears, stains, and coming unglued. How do you play pool on that thing ?

I took the broom and washed down and tried to scrub the pool area that was black with mildew. So much so that it was actually black not white lol.

The stairs to the crows nest are listing towards the yard. The patio chairs are rusted so much that when you sat in them the rust would flake off the furniture.

The ice maker makes about enough ice for one person a day. The downstairs bedroom is like a hot box( I assume filter boy installed the AC so that is self explanatory.) Time for a new BBQ pit when the door falls off is the first clue, The igniter not working the second clue. The thermometer is broken the third clue. The far right burner control spins 360 degrees the fourth clue. The patio door in the master bedroom almost impossible to open. The treadmill that does not work. The giant broken mirror behind the stair stepper. The granite countertops look like crap. Has anyone ever sealed them. Check out was suppose to be 10 am but the cleaning people were dropped off at 8:45

Then the bbq grill cleaners( whatever your paying for that would be better spent buying a new pit lol) they arrived at 9:20 geez could you at least wait till we leave.

Still waiting on the HomeAway Guarantee. So was kind of a let down to say the least. The property that I saw online was nothing like the place I stayed at. Oh Spa light is out too somebody overlooked it I am sure of that. The trash can smells in the garage and the one in the kitchen is so small that you have to empty it twice a day. It is cracked too lol. The stairs in front painting all the stairs grey makes it almost impossible to see walking down them. Remote control for the garage would have been nic

That's it

Awesome Family Trip!

  • 5 of 5

We had our first Wilkes Family Vacation (extended family, Aunt, Uncles, Cousins, etc.) at the Atlantic Beach House and it could not have been a better trip. The house has all of amenities to keep both adults and children entertained for an entire week. It was very close to the ocean just steps away with a direct path way from the home to the beach. The kids loved the Pool and the game room! There was plenty of space for all 12 of us. The house is decorated beautifully and had all of the beach toys you could want along with beach bikes and workout equipment etc. I can't say enough positive things about the house and our trip. No one had any complaints and everyone said they loved, loved, loved the location and the house. If you are looking to book a family vacation this is the place to book. Thank you for an awesome week!!

Overall very pleased with the stay.

  • 4 of 5

There were a few problems with the prior cleaning. We found a plastic coke bottle tucked in the couch which looked like someone was using it as a spittoon. (yuck)... And there was a very noticeable large stain of something?? on one of the bedcovers downstairs. Also some plastic coke bottles under the bed. The refrig in the garage had been left open, and it was on. The stove/oven could have used some more attention.

But we enjoyed ourselves. We did not catch the dry trash because there were no notes when that was to be picked up -- saw the next morning all the neighbors had their blue buckets empty in their driveway. Sorry about that. We will use Home Away again, it is a nice getaway. Since this was our first time, we'll know what to ask next time.

Fantastic house!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I loved the house. Lots of room for everyone! The screened in pool was great for those that attract mosqitoes! Although we had to cross the road to get to the beach. It was very private and the kids could play in the sand and ocean. We would definitely return here! The only downside was the stairs to the front door. My mother had a hard time getting up and down. But she still had lots of fun!

Loved it

  • 5 of 5

House was great. Plenty of room and had everything we needed. We found it easier to drive to the beach because the Painters Walk access is damaged from the Hurricane. The Heater on the Hot tub went out, we called maintance but to my knowledge they didn't make it out to repair it while we were still there. Luckily the weather for the most part was great and the kids could still swim, they just got out of the pool sooner than they would have if the Hot tub was working. House was in a great location for us. We enjoyed being away from the chaos of Spring Breakers.
