Gorgeous little cottage off the beaten track.

  • 5 of 5

This little cottage is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. Cosy, warm and well equipped with everything you could want for your break. We loved the underfloor heating and how warm it was even in January! As other reviewers have mentioned, the WiFi is patchy but this isn’t a problem whilst on holiday. The track up to the cottage is narrow and driving through the farm yard on our first day was odd, but it was worth it for the cottage at the end of it. It was very windy during our stay and as the bedroom is upstairs, this was quite noisy but didn’t detract from the overall appeal of the place. The only slight negative was that one of the sofas was less firm than the other and less comfortable, but only a small issue and the two of us could easily share the other one.

Overall, a lovely cottage within short drives of Whitby and Scarborough. We would definitely consider staying here again in future.

Dont think been converted long, but a wonderfull place dec very good, thou

three seater sofa be lot better for husband and wife or couple to snuggle up.We tryed the pull out sofa bed well both of you sink in the middle.and very uncomfortable for adults but children be ok.Three seater sofa against back wall would be lovely .kitchen very very nicely laid out, but felt tv needs be off swivel bracket .better on nice unit,10 stars we where really pleased, in main bedroom when wind blows think extraxtor van flap bangs on outside wall.If you like peace this is the place and wood burner can certanily warm the place up lovely. All of the amenities you could need, en-suite and separate loo and shower.WC open to the bedroom needs a door or slide door Overall brilliant we would return and bed very nice and comfortable

Lovely little cottage

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I have just returned from 3 nights in this lovely little cottage. Just a short drive to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. The cottage was everything we hoped and would strongly recommend to anyone considering it.

we had a great break in this cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was lovely. All of the amenities you could need, en-suite and separate loo and shower. Gas job, electric oven - unusual but welcome in a holiday home. Decorated to a high standard, with plenty of power sockets, again something that can be thin on the ground in rental cottages. It seems remote from Whitby, but we walked to the swing bridge in 30 min on full Goth dress!

Highly recommended
