Grand family home sleeping 9 with 3 en-suite bedrooms and an additional twin

Skye Napier House, on the wildly romantic Isle of Skye sits in its own idyll in Sleat, jutting out onto it’s own ‘mini’ peninsula.

This large luxurious family home sleeps up to 9 guests across it's three en-suite bedrooms and an additional twin bedroom. The master en-suite bedroom with double patio doors facing the water and the twin bedroom are both found on the ground floor. A dramatic double height reception area features a staircase to the 1st floor leading to two large en-suite bedrooms at either end of the house.

The large triple aspect kitchen, featuring a range cooker, frames the view of sea and mountains in every direction with patio doors once more facing the water. The large yet cosy living area features a wood burning stove and leads on to a bright and light glazed sun room with access to the beautiful gardens and views once again to the water.

There is a large garden and Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the house.

Set right by the waters edge and surrounded by water. The house enjoys majestic views, across the water to Kinloch Lodge and neighbouring peaks. The rocky outposts just below the house being keenly used by the local seal and otter population.

This grand family home was constructed in 2012 in classic style, yet enlarged to incorporate views to the waters and peaks surrounding the home.

The house is environmentally powered using air source heat technology. In complement to this there is a large glazed sun room as well as a large wood burning stove.

Skye Napier House is located in the ‘garden of Skye’ which is less than a 20 minute drive from the Skye bridge and an even shorter distance from Armadale pier. Inverness airport is a 2 hour drive along some of the best driving roads in the United Kingdom. Inverness is served by several UK airports including London Gatwick, London Luton, Southampton, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and Jersey. It is also served by international airports including Zurich, Sumburgh, Dusseldorf and Amsterdam.

Spacious, well appointed, comfortable. Lovely location and excellent views across to the mainland.

Skye is such a beautiful holiday destination and if you happen upon good weather, is a gem of a place. A great deal of both private and public investment has dragged the island into the 21st Century and Napier House is an example. It offers high quality accommodation in a lovely setting. Fine dining, good pub food, local coastal walks are all on the doorstep. It takes time to drive around the island to its numerous attractions, so factor that into your calculations. Weather is a dominating factor in any visit to Skye so appropriate clothing and footwear is essential. In mid March we had only one day wiped out by the weather. But Napier House provides a warm and comfortable nest when the Atlantic squalls sweep in.
