Great location ! - Designed by a well-known fashion designer to be the perfect home from home to escape the buzz of central London. This non smoking large apartment of 65 sq m sleeps up to 7 and is housed in a historical London building near the very centre of London

Newly refurbished with 5 star fun contemporary comfort, this beautiful family holiday rental, which consists of 2 large double bedrooms - and with 2 extra mezzanine double beds and 2 en-suite shower rooms and a large beautiful light living room with famous art on the walls a large dining table to seat 8 and a well equipped kitchen .

We have wifi internet wall mounted TV 's in every bedroom and a big TV in the living room.

There is super fast WiFi and the apartment is very peaceful and quiet .

Central London is very close. Kennington subway and Elephant and castle are in zone 1 and only 5 mins walk away and locally there are many great Old English pubs and restaurants nearby to amuse you.

Transport around London could not be better with subways , buses and trains all within 4 mins walk, and Big Ben and London Bridge is only 10 mins walk.

I am an Interior and Fashion designer and with my husband Matthew ( a food gourmet) we have recently renovated this wonderful old listed building. Attention to detail was of utmost importance to us.

We have created a home away from home for people to visit London.

It is a large apartment and we have called it the London suite.

We have put in 2 bathrooms with and showers to relax in. Our terraced living area with large dining table is perfect to have dinner and relax after busy day in London.

The subway into the centre is only 5 minutes away and we are 20 mins door to door to Trafalgar square and Big Ben.

Why matthew anglin chose Walworth

We chose to renovate this flat here because it is perfect for a fun and relaxed visit to central London. It is a local area and is a good way to see the real London. We are close to the river Thames and all of central London, only 15 mins walk from Big ben which is a great walk across Westminster bridge.

The Flat is in a historical London building with its own private entrance and security alarm. We have many good restaurants and authentic English pubs around and we are a short walk to The Old Vic theatre the Southbank and the National Theatre which has some of the best music and theatre in the country.

Borough food market 10 mins walk away, is a gastronomic treat full of Organic and gourmet foods.

Bermondsey antique market has been going for 200 years and is about 15 minutes walk and is full of bargains on a Friday morning

Beautiful Property, Felt Right at Home

This was a wonderful place for my family and I to stay while we visited London. It is located on the Southside, just a short walk to the Tube (Elephant and Castle). It was like coming home! The flat was full of everything we could need, from tea and wine to a hairdryer and cotton swabs! There is a small little grocery around the corner for anything we may have forgotten and a fabulous Greek gyro place with fresh sweet potato fries and feta just a 5 minute walk away! Will definitely plan on booking again!!

Charming and cosy.

This cosy and well decorated apartment was lovely. It suited 2 couples nicely. Matthew was very responsive and the check in process went smoothly. We loved being right next door to a jazz club( no worries, didn’t hear music inside our walls) Loved the glass roof in the living room too. The bathrooms are very small and so are the beds so if you are larger than the average, it’s a tight fit. Also got “locked in” the apartment for a while so a bit of panic set in. It would have been nicer to be closer to town center (bit of walk to tube) but we chose the apartment because it was a good value and looked attractive. All in all, we were pleased with our choice. More like 4 1/2 ***

Neat, convenient and contained everything that was needed. Mathew was an excellent host

We booked the apartment to be used as a base to explore London for a week. We were a family of five and the apartment suited our needs perfectly. Mathew and team were super responsive and answered our queries quickly and efficiently. The apartment was well equipped and the highlight for us was buying produce at Borough market and cooking it in the apartment. The apartment was well located with a easy walk to the underground. I would recommend this apartment to anyone

Incredible apartment

We are very close to the center. You can walk to Big Ben, the London eye , The Old Vic theatre, The River Thames , Borough market, the Imperial war museum ,Tate modern all just minutes away. Bermondsey antiques market is nearby .Boat rides down the Thames are at Westminster pier.

We have a fully stocked supermarket 3 mins away for groceries. Kennington subway/tube station is a short walk and there are trains and buses to all over London from just outside. The house is really central!

Great restaurants and old English pubs are nearby. All very good value and not tourist prices ! The best sushi is just below !

We love the area and think it is one London's undiscovered gems.... a great place to escape the buzz of London.
