Review #11435949 “Perfect!”

Our family enjoyed the facility and the local outdoor beauty. Not over congested, Boca Grande beach and waterways are close and easy to access. Englewood beach was also nice, typically busier. The condo is spacious and clean. Planning to return

Great location-Great Owner

Overall the stay was great, few minor issues but the owner was fantastic on fixing the issues immediately. I would go back to this same unit again and again. Thank you Gary for being so accommodating. We were sad to leave your place.

Enjoyable Marina

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed a wonderful month of March in Cape Haze Marina. Gary was very responsive to any issues that arose; particularly, an air conditioning problem the first week of our stay. The elevator was a must for the unit; especially, for getting luggage and groceries into the condo.

Beds were very comfortable; although, peoples expectations differ. Pool was small and crowded at times. One Sunday their was a large party with children unsupervised by parents and bottles of beer prevalent; although, the rules clearly stipulate no bottles of any type in the pool area. Also, had issue one night with neighbor playing loud music until 1:40am. Finally called police but by the time they arrived, music had stopped. Would recommend condo for family or couples looking for a less crowded part of Florida. Gary provided many recommendations for restaurants and stores. Unit was clean; although, several of the cabinets had crumbs and spilled dog food. Favorite restaurant was Serious Steak in Port Charlotte. Second was Farlow's in Engglewood and a must is Sharkey's on the pier in Venice.

Very nice unit. It was as described. Great location for boating and fishing.

  • 4 of 5

Unit was clean and tidy. The elevator took a little to figure out. But not too bad. It was a great help bringing up luggage. Only downer was the pool closes at 5:00 pm.

Great Location - at the quieter end of Manasota - Boater's Dream

  • 4 of 5

Four of us spent the month of March at Gary's. Location was ideal - away from the hustle and bustle and close to Publix's, PO, and just down the road from Gasparilla bridge. Each bedroom has own bath and an extra in living area which was used a lot. The house is on the market so some updates are needed. Gary was most responsive to all our calls. Elevator needed repair which was done. However, the phone inside it will not work without a land line. Some blinds do not work and could not be repaired do to being old. Not a big problem. There were many knives but impossible to find a sharp one. The pool was fantastic and just right temperature! Kayaks right there and we took trip to Don Pedro national park which can only be reached by boat. A highlight of the vacation. Lots of golf in area and tried many different courses. We were fortunate to have a month of perfect weather. If you are a boater this is where you want to be
