Review #11435949 “Perfect!”

Our family enjoyed the facility and the local outdoor beauty. Not over congested, Boca Grande beach and waterways are close and easy to access. Englewood beach was also nice, typically busier. The condo is spacious and clean. Planning to return

A beautiful month in a beautiful condo!

  • 5 of 5

This four story condo provided all the room and comfort needed. The view from the various balconies overlooked the busy marina, including our boat which we brought with us. Thank you Gary. We will be pleased to return next year.

Great townhome,

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed at this great townhome for the past 3 years during the months on Feb. and March. It has lots of room, very comfortable and the bathrooms in every bedroom are great for visitors. Sitting on any of the 3 decks the marina is always entertaining. Englewood has some of the most beautiful beaches. we loved the area so much, we bought a house there.

We fell in love with Cape Haze!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the Cape Haze townhouse was wonderful! The view of the marina from the townhouse was great and it was relaxing to watch all the boats come and go. The Kitchen & Dining areas are very roomy for entertaining, and well stocked with everything you could imagine. The townhouse was nicely decorated in a Florida beach theme which really made us feel like we were on vacation. Plus, it was very clean! The elevator was helpful since the townhouse has three floors above the Garage. Gary provided a golf cart which was relaxing to ride around the marina, and go over to the pool for a quick dip! When you add the convenience of the marina; boat & Jet Ski storage, boat rentals, spacious pool with hot tub, it was all the perfect combination! We loved it so much we are moving there! Thanks Gary!

Great place for vacation

  • 5 of 5

I spent the month of September at Gary's Cape Haze townhouse. Everything about the townhouse was as advertised. Gary was as accommodating as anyone could ask. The fridge died while I was there and he replaced it as soon as humanly possible. Fortunately, I was the only one there at the time and was able to move everything up to the mini-fridge in the top floor bedroom. Originally, I had some reservations about not having dockage at the townhouse, but I stored my boat at Cape Haze Marina and the service and the experience was better than expected. I liked it so much, my boat is still there. I have been fishing that area for over fifteen years and the fishing was excellent. I caught fish every time I went out, but if you are new to the area, I would recommend you hire a guide. Because we had more people than I could take in my boat for a couple of days, we hired Captain Keith McCabe and one of his partners for two days toward the end of our stay. They picked us up and dropped us off at Cape Haze Marina and cleaned the fish for us at the marina. They are more than willing to share fishing technique and even locations with you. If you have a boat or rent one, there is a pretty neat sand bar at Stump Pass for soaking and sunning.

The best restaurants are in Boca Grande, just a few miles and a toll bridge away. Some can even be reached by boat. Temptations was closed while I was there, but is always an excellent restaurant as well as PJ's across the street. If you get to Millers Dockside at Boca Grande marina, you have to try the Ahi Tuna Nachos.

If I haven't bought a place by next September, I expect to do it again.
