Looking calm and relaxation, dream not to hear the noise of cars? We have what you need: You will wake up to birdsong in a green overlooking the lake of Annecy (the purest of Europe) and the priory (13th century). After breakfast, you will not have to cross the bike path to snorkel in the turquoise waters of the lake. Then offered to you as a multitude of sports activities (biking, hiking, sailing, pedal boating, canoeing, diving, water skiing, fishing, horse riding, paragliding, bowling ...) and cultural (Annecy visit with its old city and its monuments, cruising on the lake, museum of the Savoyard costume Paccard bell foundry, ...). Unless you prefer lazing in this case you will enjoy a part of the garden is reserved for you with deck chairs, umbrella, table and chairs, barbecue and swings for children.

a great apartment and a great location

The apartment is actually nicer than the photos suggest. It is clean and modern (in a chalet style way) and well appointed. There was plenty of outdoor space too with table and chairs, the carport, bbq and garden. We loved sitting on the little balcony (only room for 2) over looking the ever changing mountains and lake.

The kids (11 and 8) could take themselves to the beach and we could see them from the balcony which worked very well for us. The beach is free - not all of them are on the lake, although it can get busy.

Location really suited us as we prefer space than being in a built up area. A 10-15 bike ride into town was lovely. We took our bikes which again really worked for us as we went mtb at La Semnoz and Le Clusez as well. La Tournette and watching the paragliders at Montmin was also great. We did the cascade d'Agnon and the Gorges De Fier (there is a stunning little river beach by the railway bridge by car park 1).

They have WIFI....good or bad depending on your view point.The only real downsides, no towels not even a tea towel, so take your own, no mosquito nets or fans (we got bitten if windows were open and it was very hot) and no oven. The microwave is supposed to work as one but it doesn't really! Oh and the bells, they ring from 7am till 10pm - all the time. Our kids slept through in the morning so this was fine for us.

The owners live in the rest of the house and there is no mistaking whose house it is, but they were friendly and efficient.

All in all a great apartment and location and I would highly recommend it to friends and family. It really couldn't have been much better for us.

Great location, overlooking the lake. Quiet and relaxed.

The house is in a great location overlooking the lake, the owner was very kind and relaxed. We extended our stay because it was perfect for 3 friends to catch up and relax. The property was clean and had good facilities. The garden was quiet and we could walk a few metres to a jetty to swim. Heavenly. I would definitely return here.

Beautiful Lakeside View!

We were very pleased with this rental apartment.

The pictures don't do it justice. It has a small porch with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. We were there to attend a wedding. It is in walking distance to the town hall and the church. Yes, the church bells ring during the day but we didn't find them disturbing at all!

We found it well equip. Although we didn't cook, everything you would need was available. The bed was very comfortable. (To us... most important!) The bath very nice and functional. Everything was spotless.

The location was easy to find, as we drove from Geneva. The bike/walking path is behind the property, next to the lake. We walked to Annecy (5k/3mi). It is also in walking distance to grocery store and several restaurants.

The owners are sweet! If we visit the area again we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful holiday

We were absolutely delighted with the apartment and its situation with stunning views of Lake Annecy. The weather was mostly good for our stay, apart from a spectacular storm on our first evening which we watched from the covered balcony.

Michel and Isabelle were very welcoming and even left us a cake and homemade plum jam, which were delicious.

We could not fault the apartment which was extremely comfortable and very well equipped and would recommend this ideal holiday accommodation to anyone.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful area

Loved this property and hope to return.

The location of this property is excellent. It is off the main road but has its own sheltered car parking. It is in a very quiet spot beside the lake although the constant loud church bells (7am to 10pm) do lose their charm after a few days. There is a garden immediately outside of the property with a swing for small children and loads of grass. There is some garden furniture and a well used BBQ. At the end of the garden is a small path that takes you out onto the bike track and immediately beyond that is the beach (free out of season, about 3 euros in season) with its swimming area and restaurant. There is also a childrens play area. Sevrier is an ideal location on the lake. It's near to Annecy and its amenities while being quite like a country village. Very close to this accommodation is a marina with water sports, two beaches, lots of cafes, play areas for the kids as well as being near to plenty of shops and a short drive to a large supermarket.

The accommodation itself is immaculate and very well kept. It has a good modern kitchen which is very well equipped, we found everything you would need. It had several hobs, a microwave and oven combined and large fridge / freezer. The small dining area had all the utensils you would expect. Isabelle and Michel were kind enough to lend us a baby high chair as well.

It's an open layout with the lounge area at the other end of the apartment. The apartment was larger than I expected and we had plenty of room. The sofa which can become a bed wasn't especially comfortable, but did the job.

The bedrooms were good. You could open the windows right up for fresh air. There is no air-con. We did have problems with mosquitos when we were there and other biting insects, but after a few days we bought a plug-in from the supermarket which deterred them. Note that if you are travelling with young children that the cot is more of a crib and not suitable for children over the age of say, 6 months. We had to make alternative arrangements.

The bathroom did the job, with a always hot shower with decent water pressure. The washing machine worked well also. We also made good use of the wifi connection, which is very fast and great for planning days out.

The accommodation also has a small balcony that over looks the lake with some basic furniture.

Owners Isabelle and Michel are lovely people and welcoming. We have enquired about returning.
