Amazing home from home

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful place. As soon as you drive up the private road to the house the stresses of the World seem to ebb away. Plenty of space to park and set away from any road noise means you feel cut off from the outside World yet are within 5 minutes walk of good beer and sound pub grub

If the mind takes you, a nice walk or short drive to Kettlewell brings more choice with The Kings Head a definite recommendation. Lots of other palces to eat and drink within 10-15 minute drive

The kitchen, upstairs, has everything and is big enough to hold a sizeable table meaning cooking/eating in the same room for added entertainment. Across the landing is the living room which is plenty big enough to hold 6-8 and is packed with tech for the kids if they so wish. off this room is a little study which proved useful on a number of occasions for me to catch up with admin type things

On the ground floor are the utility and three ensuite bedrooms. All well furnished and good sizes with good quality bedding and beds (maybe the bed in the Master a little too soft but that's my personal taste). The stone flagged entrance hall is lovely and offers up plenty of space to store muddy boots and coats - the 'natural' coat stand a particular favourite

All in all, fantastic. Go there. We headed back to SW London with heavy hearts but fond memories
