Totally, utterly AMAZING!!!

Honestly this property is beautiful the photos don’t do it justice. The owner Noreen is so helpful and really reassured us during the booking... It’s location is PERFECT... Waking up to the view every morning was magical to the point that we are seriously considering moving to Tenby.. Thank you for such a lovely break away xxx

Fantastic apartment, incredible views, perfect location

We feel genuinely lucky that we found Noreen's apartment - it was absolutely perfect for our Easter stay. None of the photos do the view justice - it is INCREDIBLE. The flat itself is beautifully and fully equipped with everything you could need. Location is so central and great for exploring Tenby and going further afield. We (1 couple and 2 kids) are genuinely planning to come back next year. Book it!

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was beautiful and spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need was provided. The location meant that the view from the apartment was possibly one of the best in Tenby. Felt so at home we found it hard to leave but I’m sure we’ll be back.

Lovely flat, stunning views

We enjoyed our few days in early January in Noreen's beautiful flat, which was well equipped, warm and comfortable. It is in an excellent position within the walls of old Tenby and the front rooms both have stunning views over the harbour and the north beach.

You do need to be fit to stay here as it is on the third floor, up six flights of stairs - well worth the climb however.

The one down side is that access by car for dropping off and picking up luggage is tricky as there is no loading bay outside. Once you are installed however it is a great base in beautiful Tenby.

A beautiful flat to which we would never return

This is a beautiful property with lovely views. We stayed here over Christmas and had a very nice time. The house was decorated for Christmas and the owner left us a bottle of prosecco. However, the memory of our time has been ruined by the subsequent actions of the owner.

We had received an email prior to our stay mentioning “slight problem with a leak on the front bedroom wall”. At the time I wondered why it would not be re-painted before we arrived as there was still 3 weeks to go until our arrival. As it was a bit late to make other plans for Christmas, we assumed it was a minor issue and decided to continue as planned.

On arrival it was clear that this was not a slight problem and the reason that it could not be re-painted was that the wall surrounding the bedroom window was very wet from floor to ceiling around the whole window. There was also a water stain on the carpet near the window. In an attempt to assist the dry out (presumably) the room contained a de-humidifier and the window was open by about 4-5 cms.

We were disappointed that we were not told of the extent of the problem but as the flat was otherwise very beautiful and we did not wish to spoil our Christmas, or indeed the owner's, we decided to let the matter drop. We felt rather sorry that this had happened to the owner who had clearly put a lot of work into creating a lovely place to stay.

When we left the flat we tidied everything and left the window exactly as we found it assuming that was what was wanted – to continue to air the room. Indeed, the window to the second bedroom was also locked in a slightly open position on arrival. We also left that as we found it.

The day after we arrived home, I was astonished and very upset to receive an email from the owner informing me that she would be retaining a third of my deposit as water had got in through the open widow (4-5 cms - as was left by the owner) and caused damage to bedding etc.

In addition to getting absolute clarity about your responsibilities for closing windows that you find open, future guests may also consider:

• The flat is, as stated, up three flights of stairs. This was not a problem generally but some people may find carrying luggage and shopping a bit of a trial.

• Be prepared to carry bags etc from the next street as unloading outside blocks the road for other vehicles.

• The sitting room is heated by a small radiator at one end so can become chilly in winter at the end with seating (by the window).
