Welcome to La Playa Estrella! This unique, centrally-located 1 bedroom is in the middle of it all. We are located 3 miles from LAX.
Apart from being walking distance from all the companies above, we are nestled in the safe, friendly, and picturesque neighborhood of playa vista near many great parks, beaches, farmer's markets, marina del rey, venice, culver city, westfield mall, the runway and howard hughes mall. We are in close proximity to the freeways, so access to santa monica, malibu, downtown, redondo beach, hermosa beach and beyond is within easy reach.
Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 11am.

The neighborhood is extremely safe and located just 3 miles from LAX in West Los Angeles. We are close to Google, Youtube, Fox, The Clippers, Belkin, Konami, Electronic Arts, Whole Foods and the Playa Vista Runway (officially open now!), etc. and just a few miles from Venice Beach, the Getty, and many other great Southern California places to visit. The adjacent neighborhoods are Venice, Playa del Rey, Marina del Rey, Culver City, Mar Vista, and Westchester.
It is very accessible by car and if you don't have one, it is located close to bus stops. Also, cabs/lyfts/ubers are all easy to come by.
I was very pleased with the location, size of the condo and accommodations. They even had extra toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, coffee, Netflix on the TV, fantastic wifi, etc. The air conditioning in the bedroom was awesome and blocked out any noise from the street and I quickly learned that keeping the windows open in the rest of the apartment was a great way to keep the rest of the condo cool as there is not central air (as typical in a lot of Cali homes and condos). The neighborhood is great - close to Starbucks, Whole Foods, the highway to downtown or the beach, etc. I would definitely recommend this condo for 1 - 2 folks that want their own private place. I will be completely honest I was a little disappointed with the apartment. I must say the owner is great to work with and very helpful but... First, the parking lot is very small. Be prepared to park very close to the person next to you without blocking someone else in. The apartment itself was nice, but could use some updating. The carpet was worn and the walls had a lot of marks and scuffs. The pictures make it look immaculate but it was not as stunning in person. There is an AC vent in the bedroom but we had a hard time keeping the apartment cool even with the fan running on high. Overall, it was not what we expected. If you are looking for somewhere to stay close to the airport, then it's great. But if you want a nice, comfortable stay for a weekend I recommend looking elsewhere.
As they say, it's all about the location, and this apartment could not have been more central. If you're looking to stay on the Westside in a safe, convenient, and well-furnished place, look no further. Considering it's the cramped Westside of LA, it is very spacious and even comes with it's own parking lot. Sure, the furniture is a little bit dated, but you can't beat the price. It is on a busy street, but the double-paned windows block out quite a lot of noise. The host even included some water, coffee/tea and other freebies for my trip. What a gem!
