Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the cottage is set in a rural location just 3 miles North of Bridport and 4 miles from West Bay, where Broadchurch was filmed. The cottage is on a quiet country lane and has an enclosed rear country garden with views across Marshwood valley down to the sea. Bridport is a bustling market town with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. The beautiful town of Beaminster is 3 miles away and has exquisite shops, cafes and restaurants. The cottage has two inglenook fireplaces and both have log burning stoves. The cottage dates back to the 18th Century and has exposed beams throughout. There are two bathrooms one with a shower over the bath, and a separate shower room. The cottage is equipped and has a dishwasher, microwave oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, wi-fi and internet, TV and Blu-Ray DVD player. Well-behaved pets are allowed, but they must be kept out of carpeted rooms- i.e. the lounge and upstairs.
The change over day is on Fridays and we require a minimum stay of 7 nights. In low season shorter stays will be considered.
