About John Rendek
We love to travel, ski and sail. Copper Mountain has been our favorite vacation spot so we decided to make it official and we bought a condo here. It's a great place year round for all sorts of outdoor activities and for being with friends. So come on up! We know that you will love it too! John and Melissa Rendek

Why John Rendek chose Copper Mountain
Telemark Lodge is a great condo in a great location! We're only a short walk to the Village and the slopes and the condo has everything anyone could need for a base of operations for skiing, biking, hiking, golfing, sailing, boating, sightseeing, shopping and just plain relaxing at any time of the year. You don't need to bring anything but yourselves, your food, your clothes and a desire to have fun. We furnish everything else or you can get it in the Village.

Great place and location for copper ski trip
We, 2 adults and 2 kids, wanted a place at the resort (since skiing all day for some in our party wasn’t going to happen) that was reasonably priced and also had a full kitchen since we planned on eating most meals at the condo. This condo fit the bill and after staying for 6 nights were glad that we found it and enjoyed our stay with minimal exceptions (a problem with microwave that we reported to the management office). The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook and eat all your meals at the condo. The upstairs bed and Murphy bed are comfortable ( though the pillows were a little firm for me, so if you like softer pillows bring your own). There were plenty of linens & blankets provided as well. The downstairs bath has a jetted tub which helped after skiing all day. The fireplace was cozy and puts out ALOT of heat! The garage parking was nice, but be aware if you have a longer vehicle (we had a crew cab pickup) you will be asked to park outside. The ski locker had enough room for four pairs of skis (maybe a fifth) and there is also a ski tuning bench in the garage but I didn’t bring any supplies (reminder for next time!). It is a short walk to the shuttle stop to take you to the east or west village and about a 5 min walk to the center village. some of the reviews state there is some updating that could be done and that is true, but true at almost any place as well. For the price and amenities this is a great condo at a great location and plan on booking again next year.
Perfect Home away from Home!
Perfect accommodations. Front view of the slopes! The best fire place! Easy access to the slopes and village. Convenient covered parking garage.
good space, good have indoor parking, and closet down stair, but the pull down bed is uncomfortable
This condo has good space for us three, good view. also it is real good that the parking is indoor especially the heavy snow week when we stayed, also has 1st floor storage closet, so we keep the ski and snow boot down there, but there are two issue we have really affected our sleeping, the pull down bed is not firm and every time I turn my body, the spring make some noise, the second day I turn around put my head the outside end away from the wall , it is much better, but the worst is the blinder, the middle big one and the left hand one not able to close completely and we had to use lots of pillow to block the light from the building cross the street, it was not working, the whole night with all the reflection from the snow , the room is still bright, affect our sleeping. I recommend a curtain instead of blinder .
Thanks for a great review!
We are happy with the Murphy bed and we as owners do not like firm mattress's. If reading this review response please note that neither mattress's in our unit are firm. If you are someone that likes a firm mattress then please do not rent our unit.
Thanks for the feedback on the blinds. As soon as the season is over we will be replacing them.
Just want we needed
The lodge itself is outdated but the condo was just fine. If you want privacy from your other guests in the Murphy bed, this is not the condo for you. The loft can hear everything down stairs. The view was fantastic and it was perfect for a family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. The coffee maker was broken though... which was a total bummer because we had to walk and pay for Starbucks everyday.
Thanks for the review. The building association is consistently upgrading the building and its an ongoing an expensive process. Newly updated features are the entry area and the hot tub room. More plans include the exterior of the building itself. We are very sorry about the coffee maker. We will have it replaced as soon as possible. Please send me your reciepts for your Starbucks runs and I will gladly reimburse you.

Very nice, well kept 1 bedroom condo
beautiful condo, perfect location
I was blown away with everything about our stay! From picking up our keys to walking into this beautiful condo, the cleanliness, the comfortable beds, the location, the view! Wow!!! We were in town for the Copper Triangle bicycle ride and we could not have had a better spot to rest our heads at night. We were right across from the Copper village overlooking the slopes. We parked our car in the garage parking and never had to move it until it was time to go home. We found some spectacular hiking spots and enjoyed every second of our stay. I highly recommend this place. It was my first time to Copper in the summer time and it is just as beautiful and fun as it is when there is snow everywhere. We will be back!
