A perfect country retreat. This place is an absolute gem and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The property is wonderfully secluded (yet very accessible to nearby Oswestry), beautifully refurbished and very comfortable, then there are the views which are just breathtaking. It feels like the view belongs to you alone!

Jen was a fantastic host too. Thanks Jen!

Beautiful barn conversion in a lovely hilltop location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week staying in this beautiful barn conversion. The interior is very modern and bright. The kitchen facilities are good. The bathroom very spacious.

The patio takes in a wonderful view across the Shropshire plain,

Struggling to find any negatives. Perfectly isolated location with fantastic views but still has modern comforts like wifi and under floor heating. We are not seasoned walkers but walked to Owestry and back via the Shropshire Way. Wow, some of those hills are steep!

Jen gave us a lovely, warm welcome then left us to our own devices.

The perfectly quiet getaway.
