Relaxing

My son and I stayed for the weekend and found the accommodations to be relaxing and comfortable. The property is beautiful and spacious. It was a fun place to go and unwind from the day’s events.

Cozy Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Great for people who are seeking a quiet and restful place to stay. It was wonderful to watch the yaks and their antics while drinking our morning coffee. We had everything we needed in our bunkhouse!

Fun with the Yaks!

  • 4 of 5

This place was very low-key and fun. A friend of mine and I stayed here for the weekend and it was lovely. Clean and no-nonsense. The yaks were welcoming and the fresh country air lovely.

Peaceful escape from reality!

  • 4 of 5

I loved mornings on the ranch - peaceful in the sense of no traffic, but alive with yaks, birds of all varieties, rabbits skittering by, a resident groundhog? and what we think was a marmot. You could get wifi if you sat outside at the picnic table - a blessing as it became my quiet place. The room was clean and the ranch was the perfect distance from town to make it feel like you were far away but close enough for convenience. The only minor setback for us was the bathroom was up at the house (we knew this ahead). It was fine, but at our ages, we do get up in the night to use it, and we would have preferred an attached bathroom. The ranch was a nice escape from a busy day in Bend and the outlying areas.

Fun getaway

  • 4 of 5

The bed was wonderful and our stay was great it is a beautiful property, very scenic quiet and wildlife. We were attending a wedding down the road so the location was perfect for us however I might reconsider the price tag / location if we were going to bend for the weekend based on the bathroom being up the driveway. Suggestions might be robes for guests to use or elimination of the additional guest charge, I think most couples would assume a price based on double occupancy.

Additionally, the door between the laundry and the shower seems to need some repair it was stuck open.

All in all I would recommend this location for a couple looking to enjoy the country side just note brining pajamas and slip on shoes for the restroom and you will surely enjoy your stay!

Quiet, private

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful little room in a gorgeous setting, just far away enough from the city to feel secluded, but close enough to tourist any time. Very cozy, with very hospitable hosts.
