Riverside occupies a breathtaking position in Newquay on the Pentire headland with outstanding, forever changing, views across Crantock beach, the other side of the River Gannel, at low tide there are acres of golden sand and the clear blue sea with its brilliant colours drifting from magical turquoise to ultramarine. Newquay golf club is a 5 minute walk away as is the bustling town centre. Fistral beach is about a 15 minute walk along roads, a cut through with pavement and then a paved road down to the beach. To get to Crantock beach (for the able-bodied and not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs), there is a footpath and then steps down to a ferry landing stage from where you can take a very small foot ferry over to Crantock beach. Otherwise you would need to drive to Crantock beach. You are guaranteed to have that holiday feeling the instant you arrive at your destination.
The property has undergone a comprehensive renovation during the spring of 2016 and now has a large open plan, triple aspect lounge / dining room / kitchen which maximises the superb views. The downstairs has wood flooring, new furniture and fittings, a master double bedroom and a twin bedroom to the rear. There is a stunning family bathroom with free standing bath and walk in shower. Dogs are welcome, although not allowed upstairs. The first floor has a further 2 bedrooms and a shared shower room and the views from the double bedroom are extraordinary. There is a small garden to the front and a large lawned garden to the rear with outside shower (to wash the sand off) patio area for soaking up all that fresh Cornish air.
Ground Floor: Enter through a bright, fully glazed porch into the spacious hall with doors leading to; Master double bedroom with built in storage, 5' bed and beach / sea views. Second zip and link twin bedroom to the rear with built in storage and garden views, large family bathroom with free standing bath, walk in shower, WC and hand basin. Open plan, triple aspect lounge / dining area and kitchen with stunning views, wood burning stove, fully fitted kitchen with all appliances and large range cooker. Exterior: There is a garage and further space on the drive for up to 3 cars. There is an outside WC and shower to the rear of the garage. Patio area in the rear enclosed garden by the back of the house with table and chairs. There is a gas BBQ for which gas is provided free of charge.
Facilities & Services
There is a gas central heating system and a wood burning stove in the main living area. The kitchen has a range of fully fitted cupboards & work tops. The range cooker has an electric oven and gas hob, there is a microwave, toaster, kettle and separate fridge & freezer. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is a tumble drier. The sitting room has a digital TV with Sky Q system to provide Ultra HD Sky TV. WiFi is available at the property. There is an iron & ironing board. There is a travel cot and high chair available. Both double bedrooms have smart TVs connected to the Sky Q system.
Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is parking available for up to 3 cars on the drive and 1 in the garage. Regrettably there is no smoking. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs may stay at Riverside at a small additional price of £35.00 per dog per week. There is a high chair and cot available on request.

Low occupancy discounts are available for the use of the downstairs bedrooms only, if staying for 7 days outside the peak season. The upstairs bedrooms will be locked but there will still be access to the upstairs shower room.
