"Hi Welcome - Our beautiful London house is set in a safe upmarket neighbourhood, with a garden and on site parking right outside the door .

The house has been totally renovated & refurbished and offers discerning guests a beautiful home where they can relax and enjoy their stay, surrounded by comfort and modern conveniences.

Transport links are excellent with train and bus access within a couple of minutes from the house

London Heathrow Airport is 40 minutes away

The house has 2 super king bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. A guest toilet is also available at ground floor.

The house sleeps a maximum of 6 people with in addition to the 2 king bedrooms the option of a sofa bed in the sitting room. All linen is provided as well as towels, shampoo, soaps and shower gel.

The house is centrally heated throughout, being warm in winter and cool in summer.

There is a large sitting room with a dining area

TV and DVD player are available, with WI-FI throughout the house

A hospitality pack is provided upon arrival including, bread, milk, eggs, butter, biscuits and chocolates.

We look forward to making your stay at the house perfect

-- Also coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper plus other basics are standard in the kitchen for each new arrival.

The house is family friendly and great for children of all ages with a small garden and is set in a cul de sac where they can safely play.

We will consider: Corporate bookings, Long term lets (over 1 month), Short breaks (+3 days)

Our terms for normal seasons are a minimum of 3 night stays however we will accept 2 night stays with a premium.

We welcome pets but there is a strictly NO SMOKING rule in the house. The house is ideal for entertaining however no large parties are allowed and the house is limited to maximum of 6 non residential guests.

There is fully equipped kitchen; oven, hot plate, microwave, dishwasher , toaster washing machine . Laundry detergent and dishwasher tablets are provided.

The sitting room leads onto a the small garden with a table and chairs.

A full maid and or cleaning service is available upon request. Guests are requested to settle directly with the service staff for additional services.

There is fast access to Central London (20 minutes) - 2 minute walk to Train Station

The house is approximately 80 square metres in extent (860 square feet)

Close to 3 supermarkets Waitrose Sainsbury's and Co-Op shopping – 2 minutes from house. Various pubs, bars and restaurants minutes away

Close to River Thames at Putney Bridge - 10 minutes walk

I was born in Central London and I know the City well, so if its your first time here or you want to know more I am happy to act as your Tour Guide.

An excellent place to stay

The house is really well equipped and comfortable, particularly the beds: the double is a super king which is unusual in rented properties and most welcome. The owner is very helpful and generous with all the basics you need so you do not need to buy soaps, paper products etc. A welcome pack is also provided.

The location is excellent too with Majestic wine opposite and several small supermarkets nearby. Tube trains from East Putney will take you all over London. We had a wonderful 2 week stay and were never cold despite the freezing weather outside. We would definitely book again.

Home away from home

Family of four in town to visit London and to attend Wimbledon. East Putney station is a 5 minute walk away which provides access to central London and is one stop north of Wimbledon so it was a perfect location for us. Putney railway station is also close by for additional access to the city and outside the city (e.g., Windsor).

House was extremely clean and plenty of room for our family. Mr. Mortimer was a very courteous host. Answered all of our questions before we arrived. Met us when we arrived and helped us settle in. Provided milk, bread, eggs, shampoo, soap, etc. which was so polite and very convenient for us after a full day of traveling.

Neighborhood is very safe with plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and pubs. Nice place to come “home” to after a long day.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Will definitely look to stay there again should we make another visit.

Wonderful comfortable place to stay

The house was extremely clean, very convenient for transportation, and a nice place to come home to at the end of the day. One of the best we have stayed at in London! The owner left a good supply of food and beverage and kitchen necessities, so we didn't have to rush out to buy them. Definitely hope to come back to this house in the future.

Comfortable and convient

Tha place was convenient to shopping and right off the tube so everything was within walking distance. Good restaurants, grocery stores and a wine store directly across the street. The owner met us at arrival and familiarized us with transportation, shopping, eating places and tourist spots. They went over the place and made sure we were comfortable with the operation of all appliances before leaving. They had a welcome basket with eggs, bread, butter, cookies and milk. What a nice gesture as we didnt have run out for food immediately. They also had spices, dishwashing soap, washing machine soap, shampoo, body wash, etc which again saved us from having to run out and buy all this.

Comfortable, well located and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect in every way!

So glad we found this property for our vacation! It’s the absolute perfect location. Nice quiet neighborhood and within a 5 minute walk for groceries and the tube. The house has everything you need and was clean and comfortable. Robert was so helpful and kind to us during our trip planning and such a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved it!

Traveled with our three boys ages 14, 11, and 9. The cottage was a perfect place to come back and relax after a day of sight seeing. Host was fantastic. Close to tube and grocery. Highly recommend.
