Ground Floor

Living Area: A large open plan room with expansive windows at each end. The sitting area has a large sofa, TV and DVD player and a selection of DVDs and a wood burner.

Kitchen Area: The fitted kitchen has an electric oven and 2 ring hob, a large American-style fridge freezer and a microwave. There is a shared laundry room with washing machines and a dryer near the pool.

Dining area: Large table to seat 6.

Cloakroom: A separate w.c. with hand basin.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: A large bedroom with beamed ceiling and a double four poster bed, ensuite shower room, with w.c. and hand basin.

Bedroom 2: A twin room with high beamed ceiling.

Bedroom 3: A bunk room with 2 full sized bunk beds. (The windows are reinforced glass)

Bathroom 2: Family bathroom with a freestanding modern bath, a w.c. and hand basin.

Heating is by electric storage radiators supplemented by portable electric heaters and the wood burner.


A shared Courtyard has garden furniture and barbeques for guest's use. Guests are able to walk and play in the grounds all around the barns.

The area to the rear of the property is not available to use.

Parking off road for 3 or more cars.

The heated indoor pool and the games room are shared by the other properties, and opening hours are:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday - 0800 hrs - 2000 hrs

Tuesday - 0800 hrs - 1800 hrs

Saturday - 1000 hrs - 2000 hrs

Dogs are not permitted in the games room or swimming pool area and when on site should be on a lead and mess cleaned up.

From Fakenham take the A1065 toward Swaffham. About 1.5 miles south west of Fakenham you will find Cannister Hall Barns on your left, opposite the turning to Shereford, which has a postbox on the junction. Follow the drive to the end, past the houses, until you arrive behind the barn complex. There are plenty of parking spaces signed. From the car parking area, Great Barn is the property directly in front as you walk through the courtyard.
