Quiet and peaceful, centrally located apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in Bridget and Craig's apartment. It's on a lovely, tree-lined street, but at the same time only a few minutes walk from central Oxford, which made it very handy for visiting the University. The apartment was very clean, and our hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Lovely home base in Oxford

Our family of four (two adults with kids 11 and 13) had a wonderful time staying at this comfortable, recently updated apartment! It is situated in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood, which is a very pleasant, 15-20 minute walk to the center of Oxford. It's very near Port Meadow, University Parks, and paths along the canal and river, all of which are lovely and very different places to stroll; there are also small shops and pubs in the neighborhood. Bridget was a pleasure to deal with; she always responded quickly to questions via email, and welcomed us warmly when we arrived after our redeye flight. She let us drop off our luggage and had the apartment ready for us several hours early, which was helpful! The apartment itself was spotless and thoroughly updated. It is at the top floor, reached by a couple of easy flights of stairs. The beds were comfortable (very firm!), the kitchen was very recently remodeled and well stocked, and the living/dining room was a nice place to relax. We heard no noise from the street or other apartments, just birds who perched outside the windows in the morning! We were very happy with our choice and look forward to returning!

Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, sogar besser als beschrieben; die Verkehrsanbindung ist erstklassig, zudem ist das Zentrum auch innerhalb von 10 bis 15 Gehminuten erreichbar. Viele nette Cafes, Kneipen und Restaurants sind in der Nähe.

Außerdem ist es sehr angenehm ruhig, nur die Vögel 'schreien' am Morgen …

Wir sind total zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Vivienda limpia, suficientemente amplia y muy bien ubicada, a tan solo 10 minutos del centro

La vivienda está bastante nueva y limpia. La propietaria ha sido muy amable y nos ha resuelto todas las dudas que le hemos planteado. Y, lo mejor de la casa, la ubicación que tiene: en una zona muy tranquila y a tan solo 10-15 minutos andando del centro de Oxford.
