Fantastic stay at a great location

This is in a great location - 5 blocks from great restaurants, bars, groceries, clothes and all sorts of fun shopping. The house was quiet and comfortable. The kitchen had all new appliances and the laundry was fantastic to have in the house. Rooms were spacious and it was a great space for our family. The neighborhood itself was very charming. Our visit was right before Halloween and houses were all decked out and it was so fun to walk around and see the different styles. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay

we were promised a bbq, had to call twice then out of gas. Kids upstairs wake you up every morning with piano playing (6 am) and running back and forth. Out of toilet paper, laundry soap, dish washer soap. No knives to prepare food with. If you want to be up early every day this is a home run. Over priced for what it is.

Owner's Response: Mr. Glen Moffatt, from the moment you arrived in Vancouver and called me late at night demanding a location where you can buy gas because your rental had run out I knew that you would be a challenge. Being service oriented I assisted you with this and every request you had thereafter. I was always polite, reacted quickly, and met all your demands. Regardless, you have caused damage in our suite and refused to pay for it, you were unfriendly to neighbours, and if and when any guest runs out of supplies they call me and I am there within 30 minutes with new supplies. There are plenty of knives in the suite and I have never received a word from our past guests about a neighbours piano? Your negative comments are sadly a result of your inner malcontent and for this I am sorry. I wish you brighter and happier days. PS I think VRBO should set up a system that allows home owners to rate guests just as other vacation rental sites do.

Great Stay in Quiet Neighborhood

Our stay here was great. We were traveling with two kids and the apartment was spacious enough for all four of us. The kitchen is well equipped and the entire place is well maintained and brand new. Although we didn't need it, there is no access to the backyard as it is reserved fire tenant living upstairs. Our kids had ample room in the front yard and the neighborhood is very walkable. Restaurants and small groceries are within 12-16 minutes of walking distance on Broadway. Bigger grocery stores (Wholefoods and Safeway) are within 8 minutes of driving on 4th. Overall, this place is a good stay. The place needed a fan because during our first day I of stay it was very hot. We informed Jack of the need. He seems nice and approachable. We would stay here again.

Vacation Traveler

This property had some pluses and minuses. It was adequately clean, reasonably equipped, had a good, quiet location on a beautiful street, and comfortable sleeping arrangements for 2 couples. On the negative side it was a basement apartment with very little outside light, 6'6" ceilings, and had a claustrophobic feeling. In sum, this is adequate for people who are not concerned about the quality of light and closed-in feeling.

Awesome location!

We stayed 4 nights in mid July. The location was fantastic, close enough to everything we wanted to do yet in a quiet neighborhood wonderful for walking. The suite was clean and very nice, modern and well appointed. The property manager was very easy to reach and friendly. We also had the opportunity to meet the home owner and chat about real estate happenings in the area, lots of construction. We would certainly consider staying at this property or any of those owned by this team and would certainly recommend it to friends. We were 3 adults and the space was perfect for our needs.
