Annie purchased this bungalow in 2013
This property is most suitable for a couple. You will find it to be a large, clean unit that is extremely comfortable and close to downtown. It is a walkable neighborhood that is in a fun area for and active couple. It is close to local tourist spots, conference sites and within easy drive for local military bases as well as AT & T center and Alamodome.
This bungalow is extraordinary. Everything you need is available and you will want for nothing. It has so much personality! The old hardware floors, the antique doorbell that still works, the beautiful front door, and what surprised me was the claw foot tub. I just had to use it a couple times! We were in town for 5 nights, and the bungalow was our haven. It was so relaxing to come back to after full days of exploring. We were able to make coffee, put on our pj's, watch TV, and enjoy the comforts the bungalow offered. One of our favorite things to do was walk around after dark and explore the neighborhood. There are some amazing houses to see, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The front porch entices you spend time sipping cocoa or coffee, and the back porch is an awesome place for breakfast. Most of all you will sleep like a baby on the oh so comfortable queen size bed. If ever we have the opportunity to visit San Antonia again, I wouldn't think of staying anywhere but here.
Such a great house ! Has everything and anything you need !!!
The A/C seemed like it was not getting very cool in the hot summer. We sent a message to the owner and recieved a message back within 30 minutes staying somebody will be out the next morning.
Love this place and worth the price !! :) thank you for letting us stay here.
This is a perfect little place for a couple. Great location-easy walking distance to lots of local restaurants, the Riverwalk, and the King William historic district; spotlessly clean; and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed. And it has a huge advantage-two bathrooms! Nice back yard for sipping cocktails, too!
Great place. Old craftsman style home with newly remodeled interior. Very spacious, with a large living room with TV, large bedroom with large pillow top style bed and very nice sheets. Beautiful bathroom with brand new shower that has gorgeous tiling, glass block and glass doors. Beautifully remodeled kitchen and even a dining room. Nice back porch and back yard. On the south end of King William district, about 6 blocks to the growing restaurant district along Alamo St. with at least 8 different restaurants; the three I tried were very good. You can also get on the River Trail here, which you can take to the Riverwalk area (maybe a mile) or bike south down to the missions. This is a real highlight which was just completed fairly recently. Dead quiet both nights I was there even though it was "First" Friday (n-hood party) & Sat. It was just far enough south to where street parking is not usually a problem, but there is also off street parking in back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed including a great location In San Antonio. We look forward to visiting again.
Great location, quiet neighborhood, close to downtown. The house has character and is very clean and roomy for two, along with a large landscaped private fenced yard with shaded patio. Two bathrooms! We arrived late after food stores had closed but Caroline had provided some fruit and coffee. If you cook, any utensils you need are provided. This place gets booked fast, so grab it if you can! We actually had to change our schedule a bit, but it was a good decision. We enjoyed the River Walk, Alamo and all of the other Missions and the Rodeo was in town! Lots of local information is provided.
