Set within the unique location of Chichester Marina, 4 The Salterns is a superbly appointed ground floor apartment within a block of similar apartments, recently refurbished to offer superb short term and holiday accommodation close to Chichester.

On entering through a private front door you find the apartment set out to make the most of the water view to the front. The two double bedrooms both have kingsize beds, and the master bedroom also has TV and en-suite shower room. The family bathroom has bath with shower and solid shower screen over, basin and wc. Through the hall, you reach the open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. This room has a ceiling velux window and therefore is a very bright and airy room and the patio door leads outside to the small enclosed paved patio overlooking communal lawn area. The gardens have privacy screening from the neighbouring patios while still allowing plenty of views over the water.

The generous kitchen has a great breakfast bar area, creating a very social environment to create your own meals. There is a microwave and oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/drier plus pots and pans and all the utensils that you should need for self catering during your stay. If cooking every night is not your thing, then just a short walk away is The Boat House cafe. This open plan area accommodates the dining table with views from the window to the water and the sitting area offers a cosy space to curl up in front of the TV, listen to the Sonos system or settle down with a good book.

The ipad in the apartment contains all the information that you will need to enjoy the local area, with ideas for days out and local restaurants. Everything in the apartment has been thought out for your ease and enjoyment, and whether you are here for a short break or a slightly longer stay, you will certainly be able to enjoy all the elements of staying within a marina, with the creature comforts and touches of luxury that No 4 provides.

Absolutely jaw dropping!!

Serene and beautiful panoramas of Chichester Harbor with glass walls on two sides of the kitchen, dining and living room areas. Quiet and private at all times with no party sounds; the emphasis is on nature and the entire area has many, many designated public footpaths. There is a great restaurant/bar at the end of the road where many locals gather for dinner or a pint! The Salterns 5 was the best accommodation we have experienced in a long time; frankly, I did not want to leave!

Set in the idyllic location of Chichester Marina, this stylishly designed and immaculately presented property offers the unique opportunity to moor alongside your retreat. With views overlooking the marina this provides the perfect place for both yachtsmen and those simply wishing to explore the area.

The natural and unspoilt sandy beach of West Wittering are a short distance away and have been a favourite destination for a family day out for generations. The highest water quality and excellent facilities have made it one of the premier Blue Flag beaches in the country. West Wittering Estate also encompasses the famous National Trust site of East Head which is internationally recognised for its wildlife, birds and unique beauty.

For those wishing to stretch their legs there are beautiful walks from Chichester marina to nearby Itchenor, Chichester and Dell Quay. This is along footpaths including the Salterns Way, a 12 mile route from the centre of Chichester to the sand dunes of East Head.

Just to the North is the famous Cathedral city of Chichester which has a wide range of shops and restaurants. Chichester also has its own Festival Theatre which has seen artists and audiences from all over the world. Or why not visit one of the renowned attractions at the Goodwood Motor Circuit or the world famous Goodwood horse racing track? Golf and polo are played at Cowdray, near Midhurst. Whilst The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum offers a wonderful family day out with lots of ancient crafts displayed.
