Huge apartment in perfect neighborhood

Two big bedrooms, two full baths, a huge living area, useable kitchen and a balcony. Neighborhood is fairly quiet yet only a few blocks from Oxford Street shopping and a 15 minute walk from theatres. We saw the first half of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, walked home and got a take away dinner for the two hour break in the play, then had a leisurely stroll back for the evening performance. Many, many restaurants within a two block radius.

Conveniently located

This apartment is very conveniently located in Fitzrovia, near Oxford Circus Tube Station and walking distance to quite a few things such as the British Museum and Westminster Abbey. Jo the owner was quite responsive initially. However we were disappointed that we had to wait an hour for her to get access to the apartment after we were pretty specific on arrival time and a full 15 hours of travel time.

The apartment is spacious and was definitely enough space for the 3 of us, it had 2 full baths. The bathrooms were both kind of dirty and we had to clean them up before we used them fortunately there is a Sainsbury a couple of doors over. Both showers had difficulty with water pressure which we finally attributed to lime build up on the heads.

The apartment also has a washer and dryer which was quite handy. They take a fair amount of time to wash (90+minutes for wash and the same to dry) so be prepared but they worked without a hitch.

Overall it was fine, and definitely convenient, but anyone renting should definitely check on the status of the showers and be ok with moderate cleanliness.

We loved this quaint apartment in Fitzrovia. Fantastic location.

The apartment was clean and well equipped for a short stay. Our host John was kind, funny and helpful with tips for local eateries. We would definitely return to this rental if we return to London!

This is a very spacious apartment in a great location. There is a supermarket next door, which is very convenient. JoC was really very nice and helpful. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Great Location - needs a little maintenance

Close to Oxford Circus station, and there's a little grocery next door, and good restaurants nearby. Security system on this 3-story building is good. There is a fire extinguisher, but building does not have sprinklers.

Kitchen is small, but living area is spacious.

Nearly all of the window closures had screws missing, so some would not lock, but this is not on ground level, so OK. Fan in the en suite bath did not work. Fan in the kitchen needs a good cleaning. Most of the interior could use a fresh coat of paint. The deck is very small.

A bit disappointing that some basics were not provided, such as dishwasher soap, and not enough toilet paper.

But the location is very convenient and the neighborhood is nice.
