We fell in love with this home and Crested Butte on our first visit. We hope you feel like you have just moved into your own vacation home...and that you will want to return often. There are amazing sites and activities year round and you will love your new neighbors. This is such a welcoming community!
We are from the home of Muhammed Ali, the Kentucky Derby, and the University of Louisville Cardinals!

We fell in love with Crested Butte on our first visit! The community is so friendly and welcoming. There are so many activities to do all year round. With each changing season the beauty of nature changes as do the outdoor activities. We wanted to secure a part of this for our retirement years and decided to buy a piece of it so that when we reach that time in our lives we can enjoy Crested Butte full time. We hope you enjoy it too and want to return often.
When we walked in this new home and saw the lake in the back with the reflection of the mountains and the surrounding views this home afforded us, we knew we had to have it!
debbie - your house is great ! we had a "full" house with 8 people, including 2 grandkids
we all loved the size of the dining room - we could all eat at one table, which has been rare at our other VRBO stays-
same for living room !
everything worked - the outside grill and hot tub were used every day
you must be a cook ! jane kept talking about all the baking pans/trays , and "luxury" toaster and coffee pot, and pans
we all biked into town almost every day-quick and easy
we hiked the brush creek trail just east of the house - easy even with kids
i biked to town/took the bus to resort/took lift to top, and walked back - knees felt it on that one
we cooked in for the most part, but did have 1 meal out at schlokars (sp?) - very nice place, but
kinda tight with our group
the art market on sunday was fun, and we loved the country music at Talk of the Town bar
we did go to Gothic and walked to Judd Falls - a perfect hike and just the right amount of time
July 4th parade was fun, and longer than i would have thought - kids got lots of candy and other goodies
your neighborhood was quiet, which was night
and the sunsets were perfect
Thanks again for the stay

Great place to stay!!! Stayed here last year with family and decided to come out this year with a group of ladies. We had a terrific time participating in the Alley Loop and the house added to the experience. It is so conveniently located and so comfortably furnished. We had great "together time" in the evenings cooking in a kitchen that couldn't be better equipped. I would highly recommend this house. Hope it is available next year!
Extremely warm and inviting home with all the conveniences anyone would hope for to every detail, right down to an HDMI cable to connect ones computer to the large screen TV- a true home away from home. The hostess was expeditious in responding to all of our inquiries, including how to get the best ski tickets for CB. Location of the home was less than 5 mins to town so the evenings were peaceful and star studded. Highly recommended!
Such a lovely and comfortable house. Great location for Nordic skiing or a quick trip up towards the mountain.
What a great weekend. First off the house was amazing. Plenty of room for us and a large kitchen area where we could all hang out. The kitchen had all the appliances, dishes and cookware that makes you feel like you are in your own house. The hot tub was fantastic and the steamer in the master bath came in handy after a hard day of skiing. The house is in a great location, just on the outskirts of town but only a 5 minute drive into town and to the shuttle stop where the local bus can take you to the ski resort. The town of Crested Butte is a great little community. I highly recommend trying the local restaurants.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this home! Aside from the gorgeous views from every window, the house was beautifully appointed with all the amenities! This house boasts a full kitchen, luxury bedding and linens, cozy, ample seating for eating/entertaining or watching TV and a hot tub for relaxing! There is easy access to wonderful restaurants, shopping and all winter activities. Highly recommended!
Outdoor activities are plentiful! Skiing, snowboarding, hunting, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, road biking, rock climbing, fishing, horse back riding, whiter water rafting, with great shopping and dining too!
