This is unit Konea 103 at Honua Kai. My cancellation policy is incorrectly stated as no refund. Please see my description below for my cancellation refund policy.

NEW: This unit now features a queen plus size comfort sleeper living room sofa bed. This luxurious sleeper sofa has solid platforms that provide even support with no bars, no springs, and no sagging and features a full 80" length of sleeping surface. Our sleeper sofa is more comfortable, longer, and 6" wider than the standard Honua Kai sofa bed. So now all our guests, regardless of where they sleep, can rest comfortably.

ABOUT THIS UNIT. Located on the GROUND floor in the interior courtyard of the Konea tower at Honua Kai Resort & Spa is this two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom luxury condo. This unit is one of only a handful of ground floor units at Honua Kai with a partial ocean view and is located very close to the pools and beach. Just walk out of the lanai to enjoy! (please see our room layout photo for the location of our condo).

Our condo, Honua Kai Unit # Konea 103 is a super clean, large 1315 square foot (plus 700 sq ft Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR hotel condominium. Honua Kai condo's and the resort offers many wonderful modern amenities. And just when you could not ask for more, many extra personal touches from a proud owner are visible in the condo such as iHome alarm clocks, upgraded tv in living, Amazon Echo with Spotify music, keyed lanai, vitamix blender, bathroom dryer rack, bathroom stools, and many other owner supplied goodies for your use such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, a pack n play with a 3" thick mattress, bed bumpers, strap on booster seat, etc.

The family friendly Ground Floor units include many bonuses not offered on any of the floors above. Extra tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. The lanai opens up to the a lush garden area, pathways down to the pools, and views of the resort and ocean.

With a king Bed with luxurious linens in both the master and second bedroom and a Queen plus comfort sofa sleeper in living, the condo is a perfectly comfortable fit for up to 6 adults. Each bedroom and living have their own HD flat screen TV's and cable. In addition, the living room features a wall mounted 65" 4k smart TV and a Blu-Ray DVD player. Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

Walk to whalers village, etc. Or head the opposite direction (North) to visit Honokowai Beach Park (great for the little ones), the farmers market, and local organic food store.

(b) 90 days or less before arrival: if re-rented, refund equal to re-rental amount minus 1 night rent cancellation fee. TA taxes, cleaning fee, parking are always 100% refundable. 120 days for Christmas / New Years holiday reservations. Full terms in the rental agreement when booking.

Repair Work / Maintenance Updates

The family pool will re-open on Oct 14. The Konea pool is shut down for needed repair work until an estimated Nov 18. However 2 of the 3 pools are open including the main infinity-edge pool with a shallow water children’s pool area and family pool with water slide, water falls, and sand pool. HKCA will do everything possible to minimize the disruptions and keep noise to a minimum. The information, dates, and timelines have been provided to Owner by the Honua Kai Condo Association (“HKCA”) as of Aug 18 and updated on Oct 11, 2017. The family pool was completed 1 week ahead of schedule.

I grew up and we currently live in Seattle, WA. My wife grew up in the Czech Republic. We have 3 little ones. A handsome 7 year old boy, a beautiful 6 year old girl, and our youngest boy is 3 years old. Our favorite getaway spot is Maui and Honua Kai.

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.

Great Unit and Resort

This was our 4th time staying at Honua Kai. We have tried units in both building but decided the best side of the property is the inner units on Konea. #103 was great. Very spacious and well done - the new floors were great compared to carpet in other units. We love ground units and #103 was perfect for going to and from the pool and for our kids to run back to the room to get lunch or just to hang out. They love the ground unit because they can spend the evenings playing frisbee on the large lawn outside. The unit is close to the elevators to get to your underground parking and very close to the gym and the new Whalers Market in the lobby of Konea - just perfect. One last thing I will mention - we have stayed in K105 and other ground units - what makes K103 better is it has a nice ocean view you don't get from other ground unit. Thanks Brandon and Monty for making our summer trip perfect.

Perfect place for a Maui family vacay. The Condo was packed with all that we needed. Great fun.

Amazing ground floor unit

The unit was beautiful and even more impressive in real life than the pictures! Clean contemporary decor. Double masters setup with a cozy king bed in each room. Loved being on the main floor with the pool just steps away, but lanai surrounded by shrubs for privacy. Unit was stocked with beach gear (snorkels, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella) which made it so convenient to head to the beach.

Honua Kai was in a great location. Duke's restaurant on property had good atmosphere, food acceptable. On the boardwalk that went along ocean for a couple miles so easy to walk to restaurants at nearby hotels (Westin). Pools were great- crowded but never had trouble finding empty chairs. There was great snorkeling right off the beach. The beach was beautiful but crowded and not a very long depth of sand before you hit water. However, we were just a couple miles from Napili and Kapalua Bay beaches which were more idyllic. The kids also loved fish feeding at Honua Kai at 8am each day and the small grocery store on site was good for picking up drinks and snacks.

Overall perfect setup for families with school-age kids. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Family Vacation

We loved our stay at 103! The condo was perfectly appointed with supplies for our beach days and adventures, and we loved the patio on the first floor with access to the pool and courtyard, as well as the location within the building. Perfect place for a morning coffee with views of the palms and oceans. Owners were wonderful with preparations of trip. Condo was nicely appointed and very clean. We hope to be back soon!!! Was such a wonderful vacation!

Great Condo

We just returned from our trip to Maui and our stay Honua Kai. It was out first time staying at Honua Kai and we really enjoyed our stay and accommodations. We have 3 kids ages 9, 12 and 13 and we felt like we had plenty of space to spread out in this condo, and the kids loved it as well. We hit Costco after we arrived, and made great use of the BBQ's on the property. Aside from cooking a few nights, we also dinned at Duke's which was great. The property has a wonderful feel about it, and everyone is very friendly. We stayed in Konea Tower 103 on the ground floor, which made coming and going to the pool very convenient. We also enjoyed the boogie boards, chairs and umbrella provided in the fun closet. I recommend snorkeling at Honolua Bay if you get the chance and boogie boarding at Fleming's Beach (both are North of Honua Kai by car). Brandon and Monty were great and made the experience easy for us. We look forward to coming back again in the future.

Wonderful Memories

My family, 8 adults and four children, stayed in 2 ground floor units, 103 & 104. They were perfect. Everything was as advertised, even the closet full of "things". The closet really made it nice for the kids, lots to play with. The resort is fantastic. My snorkelers told my our beach was probably the best for snorkeling and they didn't have to get in a car. We were ready to go back as soon as we hit the airport.

The owner was very accommodating, and his manager was right there to meet us and get us on our way to a great time.
