My name is Brandon Mullenberg and this is unit Konea 103 at Honua Kai. My cancellation policy is incorrectly stated as no refund. Please see my description below for my cancellation refund policy.

NEW: This unit now features a queen plus size comfort sleeper living room sofa bed. This luxurious sleeper sofa has solid platforms that provide even support with no bars, no springs, and no sagging and features a full 80" length of sleeping surface. Our sleeper sofa is more comfortable, longer, and 6" wider than the standard Honua Kai sofa bed. So now all our guests, regardless of where they sleep, can rest comfortably.

ABOUT THIS UNIT. Located on the GROUND floor in the interior courtyard of the Konea tower at Honua Kai Resort & Spa is this two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom luxury condo. This unit is one of only a handful of ground floor units at Honua Kai with a partial ocean view and is located very close to the pools and beach. Just walk out of the lanai to enjoy! (please see our room layout photo for the location of our condo).

Our condo, Honua Kai Unit # Konea 103 is a super clean, large 1315 square foot (plus 700 sq ft Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR hotel condominium. Honua Kai condo's and the resort offers many wonderful modern amenities. And just when you could not ask for more, many extra personal touches from a proud owner are visible in the condo such as iHome alarm clocks, upgraded tv in living, Amazon Echo with Spotify music, keyed lanai, vitamix blender, bathroom dryer rack, bathroom stools, and many other owner supplied goodies for your use such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, a pack n play with a 3" thick mattress, bed bumpers, strap on booster seat, etc.

The family friendly Ground Floor units include many bonuses not offered on any of the floors above. Extra tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. The lanai opens up to the a lush garden area, pathways down to the pools, and views of the resort and ocean.

With a king Bed with luxurious linens in both the master and second bedroom and a Queen plus comfort sofa sleeper in living, the condo is a perfectly comfortable fit for up to 6 adults. Each bedroom and living have their own HD flat screen TV's and cable. In addition, the living room features a wall mounted 65" 4k smart TV and a Blu-Ray DVD player. Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

Walk to whalers village, etc. Or head the opposite direction (North) to visit Honokowai Beach Park (great for the little ones), the farmers market, and local organic food store.

I grew up and we currently live in Seattle, WA. My wife grew up in the Czech Republic. We have 3 little ones. A handsome 7 year old boy, a beautiful 6 year old girl, and our youngest boy is 3 years old. Our favorite getaway spot is Maui and Honua Kai.

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.

Perfect Family Vacation

My family recently returned from our stay in Konea 103 and it was an absolute dream trip. In the unit was my wife and I (30s), my in-laws (70s), and two kids ages 1 and 3. There was plenty of space for everyone. The condo came equipped with so many extras for the kids: beach toys, booster seat, even a puddle jumper. We were especially pleased to have found a condo with bed bumpers since we co-sleep and these were just like the ones we use at home.

I cannot imagine a better location than Honua Kai. North Ka'anapali has very easy access to so many amenities but without the hectic/crowded feel of the properties further south. The pools are spectacular and since our young kids are not swimmers yet, it was so nice to have multiple safe/shallow options for them. We spent a lot of time in the sand-bottom pool. The beach was beautiful and we really loved the beach walk for taking walks with the kids in the stroller. We would do an evening stroll every night to look for frogs and were always able to find them.

My in-laws do not drive and were interested in seeing live music. Between Duke's and one of the restaurants at the Westin just to the south of Honua Kai, they were easily able to do this on foot. They also took the Outlet Mall shuttle to Lahaina one day and were able to get some adult time in Lahaina that way. They were very pleased with Honua Kai and with the condo.

A lot of Honua Kai reviews mention the Aina market in the Hokulani tower, which is great. However, I didn't realize there was a newly opened Whaler's General Store in the Konea tower. This is literally just down the hallway from Konea 103 and is extremely convenient. They have food and drinks, coffee, souvenirs, any of the little things you might have forgot to pack. The staff at the store were really pleasant and helpful too.

We loved having the option to valet or self-park. The valets were great and helped us with groceries when we made a big trip as well.

Monty, the property manager for the unit, was extremely responsive. One morning the washing machine door wouldn't latch. I texted him and went to breakfast. When we returned from breakfast it was already repaired. Such a fast response!

We LOVED being on the ground floor and being able to enter and exit the condo from the lanai doors. Even though this unit looks into the courtyard, the landscaping was well placed to make it still feel like a private oasis.

Overall just a magical stay and we hope to return soon!

Brandon's place is beautiful, convenient, and the Honua Kai property is second to none. The pools are amazing and varied, the spa was fantastic, and being on Maui is its own reward.

Great Family Vacation

Our family of 4 had a fantastic time at this condo. It is well equipped, clean and located conveniently in the facility. It definitely met our expectations and we had a great time. The owner is very clear and responsive in communications and there is a local representative on the grounds if any issues arise. Highly recommend this condo! A wonderful experience.

Perfect for family of 5

Brandon's condo was perfect for our family. The ground floor access was really convenient both for the pool and parking. The condo is clean and roomy and our three teens and parents fit just fine. Brandon is very responsive and provided a lot of local info. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic 10 Days in Paradise

We stayed in the Konea Tower in Room 103 which is only steps away from the quiet pool. The grounds are beautiful and everyone is very helpful. We went to Duke's for breakfast and dinner and weren't disappointed. The condo is very spacious, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen is very nice with granite counter tops and high end appliances. The bathrooms were very nice too and big enough for two people to get ready at the same time. I didn't think we'd use the washer and dryer but we did and it was really nice to come home with luggage full of clean clothes and not have to spend all day doing laundry.

Exceeded my expectations!

We had a fabulous family vacation in Maui we stayed in #K103 the condo was beautiful and very clean and the back patio area was private yet steps away from the pool. This facility has three separate pool areas which was nice for those without small children and want a quiet area to lounge around the pool side. I was not impressed with the restaurant on site for the food selection but their happy hour drink selection was good.
