This is unit Konea 103 at Honua Kai. My cancellation policy is incorrectly stated as no refund. Please see my description below for my cancellation refund policy.

UPDATE: This unit features a queen plus size comfort sleeper living room sofa bed. This luxurious sleeper sofa has solid platforms that provide even support with no bars, no springs, and no sagging and features a full 80" length of sleeping surface. Our sleeper sofa is more comfortable, longer, and 6" wider than the standard Honua Kai sofa bed. So now all our guests, regardless of where they sleep, can rest comfortably.

ABOUT THIS UNIT. Located on the GROUND floor in the interior courtyard of the Konea tower at Honua Kai Resort & Spa is this two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom luxury condo. This unit is one of only a handful of ground floor units at Honua Kai with a partial ocean view and is located very close to the pools and beach. Just walk out of the lanai to enjoy! (please see our room layout photo for the location of our condo).

Our condo, Honua Kai Unit # Konea 103 is a super clean, large 1315 square foot (plus 700 sq ft Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR hotel condominium. Honua Kai condo's and the resort offers many wonderful modern amenities. And just when you could not ask for more, many extra personal touches from a proud owner are visible in the condo such as iHome alarm clocks, upgraded tv in living, Amazon Echo with Spotify music, keyed lanai, vitamix blender, bathroom dryer rack, bathroom stools, and many other owner supplied goodies for your use such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, a pack n play with a 3" thick mattress, bed bumpers, strap on booster seat, etc.

The family friendly Ground Floor units include many bonuses not offered on any of the floors above. Extra tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. The lanai opens up to the a lush garden area, pathways down to the pools, and views of the resort and ocean.

With a king Bed with luxurious linens in both the master and second bedroom and a Queen plus comfort sofa sleeper in living, the condo is a perfectly comfortable fit for up to 6 adults. Each bedroom and living have their own HD flat screen TV's and cable. In addition, the living room features a wall mounted 65" 4k smart TV and a Blu-Ray DVD player. Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

TA taxes, cleaning fee, parking are always 100% refundable. 120 days for Christmas / New Years holiday reservations. Full terms in the rental agreement when booking.

Known Construction / Maintenance Disclaimer: Luana Development Parters LP will be building 72 townhouses in the area. The work will be in the empty grass field on the east side of Honua Kai (non-ocean side) beyond the path that circles the bowl between the two towers. These are 2 story homes. A fence will be constructed to limit dust and views of the work. Construction starts on Feb 5, 2018. This unit, Konea 103, does not face the construction but rather faces the interior courtyard of the Konea tower and the ocean. It is considered an un-impacted unit.

Blissed Out

Konea 103 was fabulous! Honua Kai is one of our favorite Resorts, and we have had the opportunity to go several times. This was our first year renting a ground floor apartment, and with two small kids, it was the best decision! The condo is so close to pools, and still has a lovely ocean view. The kids were able to run around in the grass, and if we forgot something, it was a quick walk back, without having to go through the hotel and up the elevator. Brandon has the condo stocked with everything you need, and is so great to work with. He responds quickly to emails, and his onsite manager, Monty, is a great on property contact. We can't wait to go back!!

Perfect birthday celebration!

"Everything...ground floor, ocean view, adult pool, beach, Duke's restaurant, 2 resort gift/grocery/wine stores are are close by. It was very peaceful to sit on lanai, I like the sun but prefer to sit in the shade which this condo allowed me to do. Morning coffee, afternoon/evening drinks, visiting with family/friend, ideal 70th birthday celebration vacation for myself and friend's 77th birthday celebration. Brandon(owner) and Monty(manager) were very easy to work with."

Spacious and great location

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. It is large and felt very comfortable for our family of two adults and two boys. We enjoyed the grassy area in front and sat out there while being about 100 feet away from the pool area. It felt private yet close to the pool. The place was well stocked with towels and some amenities which was nice too. Beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were a really nice size as well. It had a nice, clean, modern feel. Had bar stools and granite kitchen counter which our boys used a lot. The unit was very quiet. I thought it might be loud being on the ground floor near the pool, but it was very quiet actually. It is at the end of the hallway so you don't get foot traffic going by which is nice. We also liked being in the Konea building which has the fitness center and great little shop for coffee drinks, snacks, and basic food items. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Excellent location and unit

This place was great. The location was perfect and the unit was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Being on the ground floor was a plus. It was a perfect setup for two adult and two young kids. Communication with the owner and manager was excellent and I would highly recommend staying here. Looking forward to going back!

Perfect place for our Maui vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time and loved the unit that we rented from Brandon. It was extremely clean and well stocked with all the goodies that we needed including plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards etc. It was very well appointed. The location was perfect being on the ground floor and able to walk right out the pools. We will definitely be renting this unit again.

Unbelievable Unit at Honua Kai!

We were more than impressed with the beautiful, spacious, well-appointed Unit 103 at Honua Kai. It has everything you could possibly need for a fun filled family vacation and the space. What you really don`t see from the pictures and what impressed us most when we first arrived was the high ceilings! It makes the unit feel even more airy and open. We ate most meals in and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and the outside terrace was a perfect spot to dine. The location of this unit is outstanding. We never went in the hallways of the `hotel` portion and really felt like we were in our own private house with easy access to the pools and amenities. Almost to convenient is Dukes! A great restaurant and they serve drinks at the pool! We will 100% be back and will 100% stay in this unit. Thank you for Brandon and staff for a memorable stay, your responsiveness and attention to detail were icing on the cake.... or pineapple on the mai tai. :)

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.
