Number 8 Salt, St Ives

Number 8 Salt is a luxury second storey, 3-bedroom apartment that has stupendous views across St Ives Bay. It sleeps 6 in a super king size bedroom with ensuite shower room, a twin bedroom (that can also be a super king bedroom) and a king size bedroom with ensuite shower room. There is also a family bathroom that has a bath with shower over.

An added luxury bonus to staying at Number 8 Salt is the 4 complimentary passes to St Ives Harbour Spa for the duration of your stay. This means you also get discounts off treatments, so we recommend contacting the Harbour Spa in advance of your stay to book these avoid disappointment. St Ives Harbour Spa is just a 5 minute walk from Number 8 Salt where you can access the pool, gym, sauna and hot tub.

The kitchen is very well-equipped to self-cater for a family of 6 easily. The living room is vast with a large dining table for family feasts and board game battles. The views are amazing from the living and dining area as well as the master, super king bedroom.

There is a terrace off the living area with outside furniture and also two terraced areas off the other two bedrooms.

There is a beach gear store room available to guests and also a shared outside shower too.

Porthminster beach is a 10 minute walk away and the town centre with all of its restaurants, bars and cafes and the harbour is 15 minutes on foot.

There is free WiFi throughout the apartment.

There are 2 allocated parking spaces with Number 8 Salt, both within the secure parking area in front of the building.

All bed linen, bath towels and utilities are included in the rate.

Nice apartment, noisy neighbours upstairs and lift broken down on arrival.
Apartment met expectations and great views. Unfortunately we had noisy neighbours upstairs and we could hear them from 6.30am every morning but appreciate this is one of the problems with staying in a multi floor apartment. The broken lift on arrival was a little annoying, The late check in at 6.00pm seemed a little extreme when check out was at 9.00am but appreciate the need for a deep clean due to coronavirus. Having said that the extractor in the kitchen was greasy and so must have been missed. Remote control in bedroom didn’t work but we weren’t bothered about watching TV so not an issue. Builders noise outside from 8.30am so not as peaceful as we had hoped but nice apartment and as regular visitors to St Ives, we love it here.

Excellent Break
The apartment was everything we expected. The photographs online were true to life. In fact,the apartment was bigger than expected and truly sumptuous. Exceeded expectations. We were three ladies on a ‘friends catch up’ break. I was lucky enough to have the master bedroom but there were no ‘bad’ rooms so we were all happy with a bathroom each! The walk into town was easy and even though it was uphill coming back,it was not that difficult and we had the cosiness of the apartment to look forward to. The views were spectacular,both on a good day and a wet and windy day that we had. We cooked over three of our nights and the person in the kitchen still had the wonderful view so no one minded being in the kitchen! I would recommend the apartment without hesitation.

Great apartment in great location
This is a fabulous, well equipped, spacious, contemporary and modern apartment in a great location. The property is very well looked after and managed by Orange Roofs. Strongly recommend.
