About this property

The chalet is located in Les Houches, at the border near to Chamonix. The cottage is situated on a private property of ca. 2000m2 (12 acre), surrounded by pines, trees, bushes and flowers.

The farm was built in the eighteenth century and renovated in the early 1980s. Bearing the stamp of the old, the cottage is now divided into two very comfortable apartments.

Enjoy the views across the Mont Blanc and the charm of the cottage during your vacation.

This apartment, rated 3 stars by the Tourist Office of les Houches, is located in the original living area of the old farm, is oriented east - west. The living room is facing west with a large bay window overlooking the garden and rocks. The sun shines all day.
The large living room is decorated and has character. It offers a pleasant lounge with a fireplace. The kitchen is adjacent.

Plutôt décevant…

Le charme du rustique, appartement spacieux et bien situé pour les amateurs de randos, emplacement au calme et belle vue sur le Mont Blanc. Par contre, le ménage laisse vraiment à désirer ! Les mesures d’hygiène Covid précisées sur le site d’Abritel n’ont pas été respectées (linge de lit non lavé, délai entre les locataires sortants et entrants non respecté) le logement n’est pas propre et limite insalubre (nous avions un bébé de 20 mois) en raison d’infiltrations d’eau dont le propriétaire est conscient mais qui ne l’ont pas empêché pour autant de louer. La forte humidité ambiante, l’eau suintante au sol et l’état général des murs et intérieurs de placards (salpêtre) nous ont indisposé et contraint d’écourter notre séjour. Certains équipements annoncés ne sont pas mis à disposition (pas de barbecue ni chaise bébé) Nous avons cependant adoré la région et reviendrons avec plaisir aux Houches.
