This is a high quality Holiday Lodge in a quiet location. It is spacious, with a modern Kitchen and Bathroom, and very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful owners, and would definitely visit again.

A delightful, well maintained dwelling in very peaceful surroundings. The hosts, Denise and Kevin, were very hospitable and helpful. It is in a great location as a central point for touring Suffolk. There are a couple of good pubs in close proximity, and a great cafe for breakfast within walking distance.

Lovely country cottage

  • 5 of 5

Lovely, private cottage with fully functional kitchen. A little out of the way which was wonderful for our holiday. Great Co-op grocery store in nearby Woodbridge and beautiful river walk 5 min. From cottage. If you want to relax in beautiful Suffolk this is an excellent choice!

We based ourselves here for a few days whilst visiting Woodbridge, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. What a lovely area! We shall definitely be returning. The cottage was lovely and clean with EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a self catering stay. Denise you should be very proud of what you are providing.

Beautifully appointed and immaculate. The beds were extremely comfortable.

The house is in a good location for accessing many points of interest in the region. Swann's Nursery at the end of the road was lovely for breakfast, coffee and lunches.

There was no freezer space, which would have been helpful and a few more flowering plants in the garden would have made sitting out a nicer experience, but it didn't detract from our overall impression of the place. We found the large gravel difficult for moving the car close to the gate to get wheelchair access. It tended to dig in. The house itself had plenty of space for moving my elderly mum around, which made it ideal for disabled visitors but unless we had managed to reverse the car right to the gate we would not have been able to get her in and out of the property. We couldn't push the wheelchair on the drive. A hardstanding for parking with a solid path to the gate would have made it a lot easier, but for those without disability to consider it is fine as it is.
