About Zoe and Steve Blair
Steve and Zoe purchased Dale End Farm in December 2015, after a whirlwind year including our marriage and later the birth of our daughter. The renovation started in February 2016 with the support of local tradesmen and materials. It was completed in May 2016 after an intensive restoration programme. We have a black poodle dog called Rupert, 3 alpacas called Pedro, Pablo and Alfi.

Best cow shed ever!
Only downside to our stay was the road closure in the village that meant a tedious detour down some very narrow lanes to go anywhere. Otherwise a great place to stay.
Chickens and Pigs are adorable
We stayed for 2 nights in Zoe’s cow shed, 2 adults, 1 child & 2 dogs, despite a few hiccups (not the owners fault) we had a lovely time! Zoe and Ann were extremely helpful and not at all offended when we came to them with a complaint. I can’t tell you how much they went out of their way to investigate and make things right, all the while being very apologetic. We came back to the property later that day, after a visit to Chatsworth, to find a bottle of wine left on the table for us. The cottage itself is nicely done and has everything you need. My tip for introverts and dog owners would be to rent Steve’s cow shed as the garden is enclosed and more private. For a country view and to watch the Chickens and Pigs, go for Zoe’s cow shed. Thank you Zoe and Ann for a lovely stay! x
Perfect home from home place
Took some finding but it's perfectly situated for a stay in the Peak District. Couldn't fine one thing to complain about, everything you need was available. All the animals were a bonus to have on your doorstep we had a peacock visit us every night right up yo the door. Will definitely use this place next time we visit the Peak District.
Loved our stay. Very peaceful will definitely be going back .
Perfect place for our 4 day stay! The Cow Shed was well equipped and comfortable beds.
The surroundings were picturesque. We had a lovely time. Thank you
We had a wonderful time staying in Zoe's cowshed over Easter. We loved the location and it was great having the Alpacas, hens and geese on our doorstep. Our dog loved Rupert and they loved playing together. The accommodation was really clean. When we arrived we hadn't any milk and Ann (zoe's mum) kindly gave us a bottle. She made us feel very welcome and was very hospitable. Overall our stay was fantastic and helped by having such great weather. We will definitely visit again
Thank you for staying with us. It was our pleasure to host you. We look forward to seeing you again.
