Steve's Old Cow Shed, Dale End Farm
Zoe and Steve Blair
About Zoe and Steve Blair
Steve and Zoe purchased Dale End Farm in December 2015, after a whirlwind year including our marriage and later the birth of our daughter. The renovation started in February 2016 with the support of local tradesmen and materials. It was completed in May 2016 after an intensive restoration programme. We have a black poodle dog called Rupert, 3 alpacas called Pedro, Pablo and Alfi.

Peaceful Part of the World
My family met up for the weekend at Steve’s Old Cowshed and loved the location. We enjoyed sitting in the garden with the animals to keep my grandson’s attention. The walk up Gratton Dale was very pleasant. Fortunately the weather was good most of the time so we could sit outside, but we all fitted nicely in the living area when it rained and at night. Would love to visit again.
A great short trip with my family
A wonderful cottage, in a delightful area, extremely well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, my grandchildren loved it, wish we could have stayed longer. The alpacas greeted us every morning over the fence, ducks, even a peacock.
Would certainly recommend this special holiday getaway.
Very enjoyable three days. Lovely accommodation and great to be able to include the dogs. Alpaca neighbours, ducks, hens and piglets a bonus, not to mention the scenery.
A really enjoyable experience.
Lovely property, very tastefully decorated and equipped. Perfect location to explore the surrounding countryside. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed all the animals on the farm especially the alpacas and Rupert the dog.
Great accommodation with lovely views
Just arrived home from a relaxing 3 night stay here. Lovely accommodation with plenty of space for 6 of us and our dog. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Large outside space with fence making it dog friendly. Lots of nice walks locally. Hosts welcoming and were there if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend staying here.
