Recently re-furbished to a high standard this ground floor annexe apartment includes parking and is situated next to the beautiful Byes Park. Only a 5-10 minute level walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. Comfortable double bedroom; spacious shower/wet room; living-room with well-equipped kitchen area, including halogen hob, full-size oven, microwave and washing machine. Large flat-screen TV and good WiFi connection. Small shared outdoor courtyard area with table and chairs. Owners live in main house and are happy to help if needed. Well-behaved dogs welcome by arrangement. Good wheelchair access.

Sidmouth is a charming Regency town with an unspoiled seafront and many individual and interesting shops. There is a large, sandy beach at low tide and access to the South-West coast path - the visitor is spoilt for choice for beautiful walks and fantastic views of coastline and countryside. Good bus links to Exeter, Lyme Regis and other neighbouring towns. Facilities in Sidmouth include a swimming pool, an independent cinema and a theatre.

About The Owner

Deborah and John Chadwick have lived in Sidmouth since 2008 and moved here to be near the sea and to enjoy the wonderful countryside of East Devon. They are keen walkers and have a slightly crazy dog who likes walking too. They live in the main house behind the annexe where they run an alternative health clinic. Deborah is a aromatherapist and John is an acupuncturist, incorporating energy medicine into his treatments. John also works part-time as a pharmacist in nearby Seaton. They are happy to help with information about local amenities, walks, events etc.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2008

Beautiful, immaculate accommodation; perfect for a relaxing break. Deborah and John were the perfect hosts. The location is ideal for exploring the area and is literally a few steps away from the wonderful natural parkland of The Byes. Ideal Ideal​ for dogs and owners.

Simply the best

What a wonderful place the property is equipped with everything that you need from Tea,Coffee, towels, cleaning products Hoover , washing machine plus lots of other things. Both Deborah and John are wonderful people nothing is too much trouble for them it is like being home from home I have never stayed in such a wonderful place the surroundings to the property look out onto the park with the River Syd running through. Both Deborah and John run an alternative medicine practise so you have the bonus of having a treatment as well I had a massage and have to say it's one of the best massages I have ever had. There is so much to say regarding this property it really is a gem of a find my partner is in a wheelchair so the wet room was ideal for us. We shall certainly be returning here for many years to come if you want home from home comforts that is spotlessly clean furnished to a very high standard and is just a complete pleasure to be here then this is the place to book.

Short new year break sidmouth devon

Everything was perfect for the sort of break we wanted for my husband me and our dog who is very much a part of the family. The apartment was spotless - everything we need for our short stay . Byes park less than two minutes away so close and such a lovely park for us all to enjoy even in winter😃👍. The town had all we wanted. Pubs were dog friendly all bar one. Food was lovely in black horse as was the entertainment for new year. Beach was clean and also a lovely walk albeit pebbles. Lots of other places close by to visit. Recommend it all 😃

Great location

Ideal accommodation for us and our dog. 1 minute on to The Byes for walking the dog and parking outside the door. The apartment was spotless, warm, (we were here in December), comfortable and well equipped with an easy walk into the town and to the beach. Perfect for exploring Sidmouth and the local area. Totally recommended.
