Recently re-furbished to a high standard this ground floor annexe apartment includes parking and is situated next to the beautiful Byes Park. Only a 5-10 minute level walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. Comfortable double bedroom; spacious shower/wet room; living-room with well-equipped kitchen area, including halogen hob, full-size oven, microwave and washing machine. Large flat-screen TV and good WiFi connection. Small shared outdoor courtyard area with table and chairs. Owners live in main house and are happy to help if needed. Well-behaved dogs welcome by arrangement. Good wheelchair access.

Sidmouth is a charming Regency town with an unspoiled seafront and many individual and interesting shops. There is a large, sandy beach at low tide and access to the South-West coast path - the visitor is spoilt for choice for beautiful walks and fantastic views of coastline and countryside. Good bus links to Exeter, Lyme Regis and other neighbouring towns. Facilities in Sidmouth include a swimming pool, an independent cinema and a theatre.

A lovely Christmas spent in comfort

The Annexe is a well decorated, comfortable, clean home from home. Deborah and John made us very welcome and advised us of where to find good pubs in the town in which to spend time over Christmas. This property is right by the park, which is a short walk from the seafront.

All the shops and amenities are within easy reach. We would definitely recommend this lovely gem of a place to stay.

Staying in the Avalon Annexe

This accommodation was perfect for my Husband and I. Very modern and beautifully clean, all on one level and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Hosts Deborah and John were very friendly, helpful, lovely people. We Loved Sidmouth and will hopefully return in the Spring of 2018.

we had a most relaxing holiday staying at the Avalon Annexe

Superb accommodation .Everything was very clean and it was very well equipped.The Annexe was so near the Byes with lovely walks.We loved the wild flower meadows.Car parking was easy though Avalon is so near Sidmouth town centre that we hardly needed the car.The owners were around but unobtrusive and very thoughtful.

A Perfect Getaway for Two

A lovely sunny annexe within walking distance of the town and sea front and on the doorstep

of the beautiful Byes which was much appreciated by our terrier ! Very well equipped,

spotlessly clean and easy parking. It was perfect for us.

Beautifully clean, warm and accessible for my disabled partner

The accommodation and location were perfect. In spite of very mixed weather there was lots to do nearby . A La Ronde and the Botanical Gardens are well worth a visit and accessible with a wheelchair. Thank you so much for a lovely, relaxing holiday.

About The Owner

Deborah and John Chadwick have lived in Sidmouth since 2008 and moved here to be near the sea and to enjoy the wonderful countryside of East Devon. They are keen walkers and have a slightly crazy dog who likes walking too. They live in the main house behind the annexe where they run an alternative health clinic. Deborah is an aromatherapist and John is an acupuncturist, incorporating energy medicine into his treatments. John also works part-time as a pharmacist in nearby Seaton. They are happy to help with information about local amenities, walks, events etc.
